A Tecteun appearance really is something I’m hoping for and can definitely see happening down the line should this range continue, the actress has experience with Big Finish so the foot is in the door and it’d be fun to explore that relationship.

So, placed my preorder for FUGITIVE DOCTOR: MOST WANTED this morning. Very much looking forward to this release, even moreso with the knowledge that the extremely talented Lisa McMullin has written one of the episodes. A new era emerges and I’m pretty excited to see how it shapes up. Jo Martin is a great actor and absolutely deserves her chance to finally showcase what a superb Doctor she is.

Missed the fact that Lisa McMullin is a writer for it. Still wary cause of the cover Daleks but this has me a bit more interested admittedly…

I know what you mean, and Big Finish do feature the Daleks a lot (it’s not that surprising given Nick Briggs’ love of them). But then, look at it this way. It’s kind of a right of passage that every Doctor gets to face the Daleks at least once. I’m pretty sure Jo Martin would be rather disappointed if she didn’t get her opportunity.

I bloody love Karvanista and hope he is in the audios - but even more hope he makes a return to TV. Such a brilliant character and so Doctor Who (even if he is a bit Spaceballs…)

Trailer now out for the Once and Future coda so we’ve got our first listen of the Fugitive Doctor at Big Finish.
She sounds ok - it’s only a trailer of course but I’m quite looking forward to hearing her and the War Doctor being forced to go up against one another.
If nothing else it’ll be a good appetiser for her own range in a couple of months.

I’m sure you could listen to it fairly standalone.
By its nature as a coda the main story is finished and this is more like an encore. Anything that’s to do with the ongoing Once and Future arc will likely be explained.
