Just got back to the flat my mother and I got for our holiday after being at this open air beach party event thingy a radio station was hosting here. I had a lot of fun. The event got cancelled half way through though because of weather warnings. I ran the whole way back (30 minutes walking) and when I arrived I was completely soaked through. My mother awaited me with towels. So lucky even in that situation. So even though it didn’t happen completely, the whole experience made my day.

I don’t drink more than a couple of glasses that frequently anymore. But yesterday I did and today I remember why I don’t do it that often
But I had a great day. First I got kidnapped by 10-15 of my friends. Then we ate brunch at my friend’s house who is a former chef. It was nice. Then we went into the city and went to a recording studio where we recorded a song. I can’t sing but it was a lot of fun. Then we hanged at a friend’s apartment where her husband had made dinner for us. Then they rented a private karaoke room where we had a lot of fun. This really made my day yesterday

I had my blood draw this morning. The doctor asked my name, then pointed at the gender marker on one of the test tubes and said “Is this item correct?”
I’m REALLY starting to pass!
Update: Today’s getting even better! I’m reading A Life in Pieces while waiting for my ultrasound. A lady next seat approached and asked me how to cancel a subscription to one of those music streaming apps that has been taking her money for the last year. She didn’t recall anything about subscribing to Kugou Music. It’s just such a wholesome thing to be able to help another person (and be called “a kind young man”)

Not only have I caught the flu from my sister (which albeit does mean people will make me various soups- always a good thing) but its also in the 90s today, with high enough humidity it feels like 107 (that’s somewhere in the 30s and about 42 celsius). Suffice it to say I’m not doing well. At least I have a functioning air conditioner that’s no longer full of mold.
On the positive side I finally have a cane! And entirely for free! One my grandma bought turned out to be too tall for her so she let me have it. Very excited!!!

Got my T this morning, enough to go on for another three month~
Bumped into this girl who started her E about the same time as me again. Never speak to her tho. But she seems changed quite a bit, and more at ease. I overheard a bit when her dad was talking with the doctor about surgery and stuff. Sometimes I just wish my dad is not that transphobic… (He’s not agressive or anything, just in denial)

I hate yardwork. I have a small yard, and mowing doesn’t take long, and other yard stuff doesn’t take long, but I hate it. Hate, hate, hate. I think it stems largely from when I moved into the house and tried to improve the lawn with weeding and seeding and all that, it just got worse and worse. Anyway, it takes me a long time to talk myself into going outside to deal with any of it. Plus, I’d hate it left if people didn’t see me fumbling around with all that. Now my neighbors are nice enough, but they’re so close… so any of them being out and about is pretty much an instant excuse for “not right now”.
Anyway, Saturday, the front lawn got mowed, but neighbors behind were out so I left that, but I did rip out/cut out some of the jungle that accumulates. Sunday, did some weed-whacking to make the curb less embarrassing. Monday mowed the backyard, which, by the way is a short steep hill that I can’t use for anything, so all it is, is work. Then I fought the jungle some more.
What made my day today? Putting three cans of yard waste out on the curb and watching it go bye-bye.
Mind you, when I brought the cans back, I immediately filled one with waste that didn’t fit before, and (probably) this evening I’ll go back out and fight the jungle some more and/or fight back the spread onto the sidewalk so it isn’t so much narrower than all the neighbors.
I swear Krynoids are less aggressive than the stuff around my house.

Took our two kids to see The Mousetrap today which I’ve never seen - which is bizarre as I’m a theatre lover and have seen quite a few murder mysteries on stage. Just never seemed to get around to it.
So glad we did - haven’t seen a straight play for years (tend to lean towards musicals) and it was thrilling to watch a small unshowy cast do their thing and be fully absorbed in the mystery.
The fact it was I’m not going to tell am I - that’s part of the fun was a good twist.

Had a pretty great birthday today! My wife got me the 12th Doctor Build a Bear which is very cute and some fun art I commissioned a while ago was finished today which really made it an extra great birthday! Plus I’ve got some birthday money that I’ll probably spend on some more Doctor Who stuff.
And now for day 30 of my 13 rewatch it’s time to watch LotSD
