What's Made or Not Made Your Day?

Oh I’m finally back to school and the library is nice! Just as I remembered… Only in this time of the day I can only get seats with less than ideal lighting and it’s difficult to read any paperbook.

So I guess less studying and more Professor Bernice Summerfield anthologies on my e-readers tody. (mixed feelings)

Seeing this when I woke up genuinely made my day.

I know that my reviews are pretty long compared to most people’s, and I have a tendency to ramble and go wildly off-topic, but knowing there are people out there who genuinely like my reviews and appreciate reading them makes me feel so good about myself!

I often need to bookmark it and read on my laptop when I find time lol (reading things longer than a tweet on my phone really hurts my eyes :smiling_face_with_tear:)

I much prefer reviews that bother to actually say something than two lines saying - this was rubbish ha ha!

Then get ready for when I finally type out a dissertation length lambasting on all the faults and crimes of The End of Time!

Wait you can see who liked your reviews now? Or is that a new thing?

In my defence there’s nothing else you could have said about that abomination anyway.

100% agree. That being said, the disadvantage of writing reviews like that is I end up getting severe writer’s block.

This is also why I write reviews in bulk and have like 19 ready to be uploaded currently.

Actually just started work on another review now.

Coffee time. Got roped into doing a slot on our companies online live event this morning, at short notice. Many attending I asked? Not many, about 200.

It went fine but worst thing was, had to have my camera on :expressionless:

I turn 23 in less than two weeks.

And it’s made me realise that I have done absolutely nothing with my life this year. All the noteworthy things have been bad - having a breakdown in February, and having my relationship crumble about three months ago.

Coming to this sudden realisation has obviously not made my day

By the time I was 23 I had already made the absolutely worst mistake of my life. So I believe life will only get better for you from here on out.

Utterly brilliant. I bloody love musical theatre.

Just booked my first laser hair removal appointment for next week. So excited to finally get rid of the worst source of dysphoria for me

All the best with the hair removal! You say “first” - will you need to do it multiple times?

BTW, my nutty mind read that sentence and started thinking “If I had laser hair, I wouldn’t want to remove it!” But that’s my brain - it likes to goof around with the English language.
