Me, too! This summer seems to be particularly hot and damp. :smiling_face_with_tear:

I just made some food I was looking forward to eating the whole day, only the salt container opened up over it and now it is so salty that it is inedible…

Just before I was about to do a complete data wipe and system reset today, I just made sure there were no alternatives beforehand. So glad I did because it somehow turned back on with all my saved data intact.

I’m so thankful, but immediately decided to upload my most important game saves to the cloud.

Idk what it was all about but apparently it could be due to a failing hard drive. Gonna turn on cloud sync and ride it out until it’s an unplayable piece of plastic

30°C again today, as it has been for months, but I couldn’t put off getting groceries anymore so I had to leave the house. The escalator out of the train station was out of commission so I had to climb an additional 200 stairs on top of the usual 300 with my groceries. I somehow managed not to faint until I got home and collapsed on the couch, but it still wasn’t pleasant. I know I’m entitled to have a person help me with chores due to my disability, but I’ve never needed one before. After today, I think I’m gonna start looking into it. I wish my supermarket did deliveries.

I feel that. Actually going grocery shopping for me tends to involve taking a folding shopping cart on a bus,and I’ve long decided it’s worth paying for grocery delivery instead through instacart. Might be worth checking if other supermarkets do delivery, even if they are further.

Things have actually cooled down a little the past few days here, with some possibility of rain. Only 38C at the moment…

Unfortunately the only supermarket that delivers to my city is way out of my price range. I couldn’t afford regularly getting things from them all summer long.

Temp-ing in another shop. The aircon is broken and they have big windows. Blood boiling.

Didn’t make my day: colonoscopy.

Made my day: no issues.

£100 Amazon voucher from my class for the end of term. Guess I’ll be buying the 11/Valerie box sets then…

Still sounds like a fun time to me :imp:

Not as much fun as the song makes it seem! (Thanks for that, BTW, @DarthGallifrey )

Actually the procedure itself is nothing. You take a nap and when you wake it’s over. The prep the day before is rather unpleasant.

This was my first and I was quite anxious about it, so glad it’s over.

You’re welcome. My family discovered Tim Hawkins several years ago and he’s got some great stuff. I had hoped you’d enjoy the song.

Turns out the day it becomes an unplayable brick is today!!:partying_face:

I played alot yesterday, finished off two games. Uploaded a bunch of storage to the cloud so hopefully that worked.

And overnight Sony released a software update.

Can’t download the update with a broken hard drive.

Now I gotta consider between a second hand PS5, a new PS4 (with hard drive state in mind), or just replacing the hard drive literally (assuming it is a hard drive problem).
