Wilson (my cat) came up to me and obviously wanted to play with me, but 2am, whole family is asleep, not much we can do rn. I try to cuddle him, he still wants to play. He plans on going downstairs, but I call him back up. He gets the message and stares at me from the middle of the room. I take off my hair tie and chuck it to him. He holds it in his mouth and waddles away with it to go play downstairs. He likes to fling it up and down the staircase. Drives everyone else nuts hehe.

I don’t know why, but I found that little story very sweet. Just you and your cat in the middle of the night. One of the great moments in life.

As a “Diplom-Mathematiker (FH)” (holder of a diploma in Mathematics, roughly equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree), I feel compelled to say: there is beauty in mathematics, even though I fully understand how that beauty often remains hidden during math education.

First they’re trying to ruin Pitch Perfect 3 for me with John Lithgow now this!? I’ve removed the song he’s on in that movie off my playlist. Just hoping the rumours of Brett Goldstein joining this shitshow are fake. Luckily so far nobody rumoured I care about much!

Unfortunately this thing is probably going to do well because of nostalgia, and people who care more about a fictional world than a marganalised group. I’m just hoping that as I said, nobody I care for ends up involved.
