What is your most controversial opinion?

ngl the only reason I ever started listening to War Master was for Narvin (of course) but then I kept going because I just love the scheming

I have not listened to the War Master, but it is really low on my list. I don’t see how they could do anything interesting with him. However, I also find the whole Time War to be kind of uninteresting.

I have listened to the first Missy Box, and I am in no rush to get to the second one.

Here’s two for one;

A) Now that the dust has settled, The Robot Revolution has dipped below New Earth to be my least favourite season opener since 2005.

B) Which of course also means I think Space Babies is better.

I really don’t understand why people hate this so much.

Honestly! Asides from the really clunky lore dumping at the start (half of which should’ve been in TCORR) I really like plenty of the scenes. I’d say my favourite scene is the one with the Doctor & the Bogeyman when he’s in the airlock.

Absolutely love this scene, makes me laugh so much :joy:

Been a while since I rewatched Space Babies but I remember actually liking it. :speak_no_evil_monkey:

I recall thinking that one was fine. Not my favorite of the season, but pretty good.

As far as RTD2 is concerned, Space Babies is the weakest episode thus far. But that is kind of a good thing, since it’s just okay-ish, as opposed to the genuine low points of other eras, including RTD1.

I’m sorry but I’m still a hater, it just felt so juvenile and annoying to me :sob: Plus the exposition dump

I think because S1 has the Ruby mystery at the forefront so heavily, the finale just ruins it for me. Still, could be a further twist in the tale this season who knows!

This isn’t a controversial take I’m posting here (at least not that EoD wasn’t good, that’s a cold take) but honestly the pay off of the mystery wasn’t even my least favourite part as bad as that was lol

There’s always a twist at the end

I am not sure how controversial this is in most Who Circles, but I feel like saying this here might be the most appropriate: I don’t care for the Mysteries or most Arcs in the Revival. If anything, I think they make me actively roll my Eyes whenever they come up. While some of them are better than others, I am just tired of them at this Point. I get why they exist, they good to gain some Engagement with Speculations and so on, while that can be fun, rarely if ever do I think are the Payoffs good.

Big Reason why I have a much bigger Preference to Series 10, while it seemed like it would go into a similar Direction, the Vault was revealed quickly. And I much more prefer that over having a Character constantly reappear, or a Phrase be uttered multiple Time. Just wish we kinda moved on from it entirely, but again I understand that I am in the Minority with that (probably).

Oh, and the Series 3 Dalek Two Parter is one of the best Dalek Revival Story in my Eyes at least.
