You sound scared. You know they have a word for the fear of people named Andrew.

It’s called Andread.

Andred??? So now we’ve come full circle

No no, it’s Adric in Full Circle

Right, Andred is The Invasion of Time.

Rogue is one of my more favourites from the season. Indira Varma’s obvious enjoyment of the whole thing is infectious.

No I thought we established that was Andrew ?

No, wait, I’m confused now.

We have Andred.

And Andrew, God forbid.

And now there’s an Andread?

I can’t keep up. I’m getting too old for this. I need an easier fandom to drool over.

I know! I’ll become a Trekkie instead!

Oh, wait…

Hey, look! It’s that fantasy book about a magical boy with black hair and glasses and an owl for a friend, written by a problematic author!

Did somebody say Star Trek? I’m only watching DS9 for the 3rd and 4th time now.

I have only watched TOS, the first season of TNG and the first three seasons of Discovery. I haven’t found the time to continue!

My wife and I have been watching the original Star Trek series. I’ve seen it multiple times, I don’t think she’s seen too many of the episodes before now.

There are some good stories, but OMG it is so unbelievably sexist.

It is in many casual ways, but at the same time was pushing the idea that women could serve on a spaceship with important roles, on the bridge no less. So it’s a bit of a mixed bag, and also a lot of the things they did that were thought of as more progressive at the time are seen as more quaint by today’s standards. For the late 60s though, it was rather ahead of its time most of the time.

I’ve watched some of most Star Trek series. The animated series is really the big exception. Prodigy was the last thing I watched. Haven’t done the last season of Lower Decks yet. I’ve got Voyager and DS 9 watches basically on hold, since the time I would be doing them in, I’ve been doing Doctor Who.

Everything I know about Star Trek is from when I watched The Big Bang Theory :upside_down_face:

I still haven’t seen a single episode…

Well, Doctor Who should always come first, of course!

I have all the Star Trek movies and the vast bulk of TV series material on DVD/blu-ray. The only exceptions, I think, are Prodigy (haven’t seen), and Lower Decks (seen all but the current season, but don’t own yet).

What can I say? I get obsessive. Plus it’s a lot cheaper on a per-episode basis than accumulating Doctor Who.

Yeah. When the Blu-Ray sets in Region A actually cost less than getting all the individual stories of that season on out of print DVDs.
