I also love the Witches - Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg are only a gnat’s whisker behind Vimes for me personally
Granny means so so much to me, I absolutely adore her
Thanks you for the advice @Tian, @DoctorDisco, and @sircarolyn!
Honestly, one of my favorite Discworld novels.
I own several books! You should definitely read it (them!).
I mean, I have never read them either (yet). So I should do it too! But I encourage you to do it first!
There are amazing audiobooks to them as well.
I just finished the NSA Beautiful Chaos, which I quite enjoyed! It was definitely a step up from other NSAs I’ve read, and Wilf had a prominent role.
Oh nooo it continues?? I was hoping it would be restricted to Cold Fusion that book is great but some of the Tegan and Nyssa stuff is deeply uncomfortable
I need to read this one at some point
It’s fascinating how much early Gallifrey feels directly inspired by Lungbarrow. I have to say, I prefer Lungbarrow personally
Something I was skimming through earlier:
If you go over to the official pages for copies of Doctor Who scripts, and head to season 10.
One notable thing is that there are two versions of “The Pilot” there, the first draft and the final draft. You can see why if you look at them, too. The first draft is 21 pages longer then the final. A lot of stuff was cut…
(I do wonder why episodes 4, 7, 9, and 10 are missing…)
The Ruby’s Curse was alright, but far too long.
In the Blood blew my mind, an enjoyable Jenny T Colgan story, and it was a Big Finish sequel?!?
Hoping to have The Wonderful Doctor of Oz done in a bit.
This is exactly my problem with it. I think that it was good but it never ends…
Should I listen to something before reading that?
Spoiler for the book, but I recommend listening to Time Reaver first. If you’ve already done that, then the you’ll be fine!
Done!
That’s me finished three books today already!
Now to continue The Nightmare of Black Island!
I think I have the sontaran experiment next in my target book marathon I’ll probs listen to the audiobook at work then read along with the rest of it
I’m about halfway through The Secret in Vault 13 and how did I not pick up on all these references the first 4 times I read this???[1]
I kinda want to make a list of all of them…[2]
Started reading The Masters of Luxor script book. Interesting enough first episode!
Got halfway through Camera Obscura last night, I’m having so much fun. Lloyd Rose really knows how to do character dynamics
