Of course you shouldn’t trust Tom Nook. Those games are all about your paying off your enormous debt to him, and when you get close, he looks for other ways to put you further in debt, IIRC…

Tom Nook was straight out an evil landowner. Never trusted the dude even with him having such good taste in clothes.
I miss the Animal Crossing hype from some years ago ngl. I spent hours just creating Doctor Who stuff there. My island was named Mondas.

I have Splatoon 1 and 2.
I absolutely love the aesthetic, the music, the storyline, it’s amazing.
But I realised that I am terrible at First Person Shooters using a controller. I’m a mouse and keyboard user
So I’m terrible at it. But I want to love it.

I’ve definitely been there.
Kinda feel similarly about Remnant From the Ashes 1. Love the game, and the bosses stomp all over me. It’s clearly designed for co-op, and I don’t like co-op.
Eventually managed to get the ability to summon creatures, and that helps.
Got 2 on the basis that one of the starting classes comes with a dog that fights with you in combat… (And is pettable.)
