I fully agree, Dark Eyes 1 is fabulous, but then it treads water for a bit until Doom Coalition, which is a great soft reboot. You don’t really need to have heard Robophobia or Dark Eyes to jump on at Doom Coalition 1 and know what’s going on. And I couldn’t recommend the 8/Lucie stories more, that’s one of my favorite DW eras in any medium.

Finished “Dalek Universe 1” with “The House of Kingdom”.
Dalek Universe has been good so far.
I definitely feel like I really am missing some context when it comes to Anya Kingdom though…
That’s from The Fourth Doctor Adventures as far as I can tell right? Because something has happened that keeps getting alluded to that I haven’t heard about, and it is starting to get just a tad annoying 
Fine cliffhanger, I am looking forward to getting to “Dalek Universe 2” (probably tomorrow)

I really enjoy the 9DAs, but Ravagers was a bad start. It didn’t sell the range well, felt like Briggs really wanted to be the one to start this range. I have never returned to it.

I think there is a Dark Universe prequel in the 4DAs, yes - when I reach it eventually, I think it’s going to be when I finally listen to DU too

I listened to that one (The Dalek Protocol) before Dalek Universe 1, but they made it clear that this was another instance when she met Teeth and Curls

Yes, there is a whole season of the 4DAs which sets up Anya Kingdom, but even though you could figure out which one it is just from the actor’s presence, it still feels like a spoiler to tell you which one it is! There actually is a LOT of backstory there.

Finished Redacted series 2 and sad to say I’m a little disappointed by the ending. I really can’t jive with Apex having a redemption after everything he’s done to Cleo and to Honour. And not only that but I found the climax to the entire story a bit anticlimactic. Enjoyed the series as a whole, giving 4/6 episodes a 3.5, the penultimate episode a 4 and this a 3. But I didn’t love it by any means and the ending frustrates me lol

Ravagers my behated. Echoing what other people have said, I swear they get so much better from here. Almost every boxset has at least one really, really good story - look out for sets 4 to 6!
