TV Time - (but not Doctor Who)

I watched an episode of this new show on Disney+ called Doctor Who. Has anyone seen it? I think that season 2 will come later this year.

Eh as far as I can tell it’s a spin-off about a character that once met the engineer that helped create the brilliant K9 :person_shrugging:

More like Doctor Who Cares? am I right???

The mistake they made was assuming the show could continue once K9 had moved on to more creative endeavours.

I watched The Underwater Menace animated reconstruction with @Jamie, one of the stories I hadn’t rated so it was good to tick that off the list!

However there was no K9. These spin-offs are getting more and more obscure. 1.5/5

No K9?!?

What is this madness

Halfway through S4 of Only Murders in the Building now. What a fantastic show! Just going in on the Brothers Sisters documentary episode…

Also loving Wednesdays for new Daredevil which I’m really enjoying. It definitely feels like an evolution which I’m grateful for. A straight up rehash wouldn’t appeal as much, this feels like there was a reason to bring him back to this degree. Loving it.

Saving up new White Lotus so won’t make a start just yet.

@shauny the title of this topic seems to be lingering on the April 1 madness.

Watching the 2023 There She Goes special. Tennant and Hynes are superb in this.

There She Goes broke me. If you haven’t watched the two series and the special, do it now. I think I just had every emotion possible while watching a programme.

I’m resuming my rewatch of the Brothers. One of the characters is away in Sweden “a very fast country” somehow. I’m obsessed with Paul Merroney. The attitude in him and Six is something else, and I love every bit of it. I’d say the line just made me laugh out loud, but it’s a spoiler. The man seriously does not care about anyone’s feelings.

Ooooh I just got reminded that this is a show I watch.

And I thought to myself “I haven’t seen it in ages, is it still being renewed?” And checked, the new season stars next month!

That’s exciting.

(Yes it’s really dystopian and miserable and lots of horrible stuff happens but I enjoy that kind of thing)

I really enjoy that series as well. There’s always quite a mission to remember what happened in the last season for me though. I always remember where we left it, but not a lot of what got us there.

Moreso this time as the gap has been almost 3 years!

Very keen to see how June and Serena evolve after the end of Season 5.

Yeah I watch a lot of “recap” YouTube videos for things like this.

The Handmaid’s Tale is very good, a very compelling story. I’m glad they essentially just dump you into this dystopian world with barely any explanation and slowly feed you information on how the nation became uhhhh itself.

Frankly I was surprised to hear it was getting a new season since I felt the last season was a perfect capstone for the series, I’m looking forward to watching it when it comes out.

Watched an old Quantum Leap episode tonight - Play It Again, Seymour. Really fun but some pretty dodgy stuff directed at the only woman in the cast (a pre-Babylon 5 Claudia Christian).

The Mind of Mr jg reeder. You all know I love Colin, but he makes an unbelievable criminal (except BtB) lol. His face and how he carries himself is much too innocent. But those are the ones you ought to watch.
