It’s nearly Christmas, so it’s the perfect time to rewatch the Danger Mouse Christmas specials.
It’s a tradition in my house to watch them every year.
Jingle Bells, Danger Mouse smells, Penfold is a pain.

As the new V UK Big FInish release has just been announced, here is a trailer for the original miniseries.
and here is a trailer for the 2009 remake. Kinda crappy, but enjoyable for what it is.
A V miniseries from BF?1?
Started watching Black Doves on Netflix last night. Really great spy series so far.
Would recommend (especially if you also fancy Ben Whishaw)
Watched the first 5 episodes of Skeleton Crew. I have to say, I am quite impressed.
Sure, it is a kids’ show, no doubt about it. But it is just so well written and executed.
For example, one of the kids, Wim, would normally annoy me so much. But he is just so believably written as a real kid and is so well portrayed by Ravi Cabot-Conyers that it just works.
Indeed, all the main characters are well written, and big respect to Jude Law as Jod Na Nawood, Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Fern, Kyriana Kratter as KB, and Robert Timothy Smith as Neel for portraying them so well.
The overall story is not overly complicated, but again, just so well written. And the production value is amazing.
Recommended to watch, even if it may help to be able to connect to one’s inner 10-year-old.
I’m also really enjoying the series.
The new Wallace & Gromit was incredible
Seconding that! What an absolute delight.
I genuinely cheered when the Farmer from Shaun the Sheep showed up!
We did too. And the Ant and Dec gag was inspired. I also liked Madame Butterpies .
I liked Onya Doorstep. By coincidence we had just been watching some Cunk and we all cheered when we heard Diane Morgan’s voice!
Watched the Outnumbered Christmas special. Adored it, of course. One of the very best TV shoes ever made IMO, and seeing all the characters grown up made me all warm and fuzzy. Wonderful!
Me and my wife started Whiskey on the Rocks yesterday. It is a comedy/drama about when a Russian submarine accidentally got stuck on in the Swedish archipelago during the Cold War. We watch the first Teo parts yesterday and thought that it was fun. It is produced by Swedish Public Service and Disney and I think that it will be released outside of Sweden in January.
Uuh, this looks interesting! I’ll put it on the watchlist. It looks like a show that my wife would enjoy as well
The first two episodes were fun. It
Makes fun of Americans, Swedes, and Russians in a great way. You would like it.
Yes, because I like to make fun of my neighbours and those pesky Americans every day! /j
Why the /j? It is true.
Because I’m not actually making fun of anyone, just lovingly pointing out things I have noticed about other cultures
Very late to the party & started watching The Traitors.
Looking forward to the new series. Its one we looked into after the word of mouth for the first series and adored it. We don’t really do ‘reality’ but this one just clicked and works so well.
