TV Time - (but not Doctor Who!)

Same. I had avoided it for ages because of the ‘reality’ genre but started watching it with some relatives over the holidays.

I think it’s the combination of tasks which are genuinely fun to watch and seem to elicit bonding between the team coupled with the drama of sussing out the traitors. Knowing who the traitors are is, of course, key for the audience. Claudia Winkleman is brilliant too. Series 2 was absolutely brilliant in terms of traitorous behaviour.

I love The Traitors but still think if there was an element of traitor behaviour during the tasks - if some people were trying to sabotage the missions - it would be easier to try and figure out who the traitors are, and less guesswork.

But that’s because I love board games where there is a traitor in the midst

I enjoy watching the dynamics. Who gets influenced by whom and why.
And Claudia just having an amazing time, camping the whole thing up!

I have been thinking about watching the Swedish version of the Traitor. My father-in-law loves it. I might do it. Any Who-related person in the UK one?

Both seasons of the Swedish version are good, but the first season is better.

But my football team’s head of sport is in the second one.

Bosse Andersson? He played it pretty well

No. There are no celebrities in it. It’s all members of the public.

Yes. He is great at talking. I can see him being good.

I always forget that Finnish and Swedish game shows almost never have regular people as contestants these days. It’s always a bunch of B-list celebrities (and Bosse, he’s A+).

And he is a very loyal team player, which he proved in the season as well.

Bosse is no B-list!

Or is everyone in Finland & Sweden B list? :eyes:

Sorry, you’re right. I fixed my post.

The A-listers have no interest in participating in silly game shows (except for Bosse, because he’s cool) and the viewing public isn’t interested in watching all these normal people win money, so I guess the B-listers are a compromise

The UK version is getting a celebrity edition but the ‘normal people’ series are, for my money, probably better as none of them know each other (well most of them at least…)

The US version is a mix of ‘normal’ people and Z-list reality ‘stars’ which always puts me off watching it, despite it being filmed in the same location as the UK one and featuring Alan Cummings as the host.

Watched the finale for Lower Decks, a good finale that concludes the series well but leaves room for more. Im going to miss it

Watched the first two episodes of The Traitors UK Series 3.

Slight spoiler for the mission, no details about who was eliminated or anything:

I am so glad they are shaking it up like I hoped they would - a chance for traitors to sabotage the missions is exactly what I said the show needed!
