Every top song is by FOB :sob:

Disloyal Order is a banger choice of top song though! I’m actually honestly surprised Paramore aren’t in my top 5 this year

Been using Spotify mostly for audiobooks and soundtracks and it shows…:sweat_smile:

I saw the picture and thought your most listened-to artist was Karl Marx. I thought: “Has Karl Marx made music?!?” :joy: But I guess a lot of dudes from that era look very similar.

But interesting top 5!

I was about to ask you why Dolly Style is so high on the list. But who am I to judge the tastes of an adult man!

Our wedding song was You And Me by Lifehouse, but with new lyrics by my wife (they were a surprise for me!).

Love FOB, Paramore and Florence+ the Machine, love your Top 5!

It’s the beard  I wonder what Karl Marx music would have sounded like… I can confidently claim I listen to a bit of everything looking at this list where classical and kpop sit next to each other

I use Apple Music out of habit even it makes me about 75% less cool but I still got my Apple Replay today.

Top five most played artists were:

  • David Bowie - 1,230 minutes (no surprise there, Bowie’s first every year)
  • Billy Joel - 498 minutes
  • Talking Heads - 494 minutes
  • Tally Hall - 441 minutes
  • Gorillaz - 426 minutes

It’s mostly just soundtracks I listen to

But very nice soundtracks! Love Howard Shore’s work

The Lord of the rings soundtrack is truly the best soundtrack ever made, never fails to get my feelings going

Here’s mine (Apple Music).

I have no idea why Pretty Woman was played so much - might have been left on repeat or something?!

The rest checks out.

(I saw my niece perform in Merrily We Roll Along for her university project and have been listening to it on repeat loads since!)

How to admit that you listen to Pretty Woman while working on the website without admitting that you listen to Pretty Woman while working on the website :joy:

Well, looking at my stats, I certainly agree :joy:

This is slightly off though, as my last.fm stats look different. I’ll share them after the New Year.

But I’ve basically been listening to Eurovision, John Williams and The Beatles

Ah, Merrily We Roll Along - so you might just be the only person I know in real life who would also know who Lindsay Mendez is. Phenomenal singer.

I know of her, and have listened to her in Merrily but yeah that’s it.

I love the album but it’s very loud! Lots of shouting.

I haven’t actually listened to Merrily - although Ive done a fair amount of other Sondheim. It’s just that no one outside of musical theatre would recognise the name.

Bit like when we invoke Barry Letts or Janet Fielding to a not-we.

I really thought that NOAHFINNCE would be my top artist, given that I listened to him loads before I went to see him, and my top 5 songs are all his (as an aside, I really thought ALEXITHYMIA would be my top song, it’s my favourite song, and I listened to it loads, or so it felt)
All of my listening time went towards Big Finish this year though, so much lower stats compared to the last few years.

Mine:

Both surprised and not surprised that the X-Men '97 theme is number one. Thought it would be The Ballad Of The Witches Road, but I did listen to the X-Men '97 Theme a lot.

I also listened to more gaming music than usual too.

John Williams and The Beatles is quite a mix.

Talking Heads was also in my top five, and I think Tally Hall is one of my sister’s favorite bands.
