I play relaxing piano music (Disney-themed) I’m class a lot so that’s skewed my Wrapped somewhat…
Danny Elfman, Andrew Lloyd Webber and Murray Gold is an interesting combination. Could you imagine a collaboration between those three?
I knew Daphne (one of the real-life inspirations for Moira Rose, and yes, as in Guinness beer) was going to be my #1 and BLx2 probably my #2. Wasn’t expecting Strawberry Dream, which just yesterday I determined was the best single of the year, to actually be my most played!
Deeply embarrassed to see Rêve in there given that she only has two good songs. And frankly disappointed to only be in Daphne’s top 0.5%.
LIstened to some of my playlist last night and it’s basically the same songs as last year! I don’t think I’ve found much new music I’ve got obsessed with enough to have on repeat (and by new music, I mean new songs from musicals I can prance around the kitchen to). I think I only added 3 or 4 new ones last year and the majorty were from the Moulin Rouge stage musical.
@deltaandthebannermen when he’s prancing around the kitchen to his musical playlist:
Surprisingly accurate…
Didn’t even know the Xbox one had come out. Seems early.
My Xbox Year In Review:
Kind of surprised that Jurassic World Evolution 2 came higher than Banjo Kazooie.
Haven’t actually used my XBox that much this year, so the results are a little skewed. I game on my pc far more, not to mention I cancelled my XBox game pass subscription.
Not to mention, now that I think about it, I have two different accounts on the XBox, and this is one of them, so it’s not counting some gameplay on the other account.
Starfield is definitely one I intend to play at some point. Heard so many great things about it.
Well… I’m not as down on it as some people, but still wouldn’t rank it as great.
For one, it really doesn’t like the combination of Linux and nvidia, though if you fiddle enough with it with the right drivers and such, you can get it working. There’s a reason I was playing on the XBox, though. (And I was using XBox Game Pass to play it there for free, so now I have to use the copy I actually own on steam.)
It’s also very buggy. I remember that as I racked a lot of time into the game, it started crashing more and more often. I also had one quest permanently bugged, because the vendor I had to deliver to somehow got somewhere that was inaccessible. And when I started a different playthrough, some random guard ended up stuck on my ship somehow. Not to mention the times the ship glitched out…
A bigger problem is that while I did enjoy it initially, after a while, you find you’re looking at the same barren planets, you discover the same outpost with the same notes on multiple different planets, and things get kinda boring. Lots of things needed more fleshing out and weren’t. And end game is basically “lets go into new game + over and over”?
Also, some balancing clearly needed to be done. Vendors had really low amounts of money, so there was a lot of going to a vendor, selling a bunch of stuff until they were out of money, waiting 24 hours or so, selling stuff again, and repeating a dozen times.
The ship building and modification was a lot of fun, though. I really enjoyed putting together my own abominations of a ship, and painting it and such.
Now I will say I don’t have the dlc, and haven’t played since several major patches. They could have fixed some of the problems, and there are a bunch of mods out now, too. I am still planning on going back to it more at some point…
My PlayStation Wrap-Up is finally working. Not too surprised by these stats:
Not surprised it’s largely dominated by Hogwarts Legacy as I did play it a lot. Nice to see my Trophies have increased. Might not have uploaded all of my stats on this forum page as it came up with errors for some of the screenshots.
Goodreads before Nintendo? That was unexpected.
