New deliveries

Alien Bodies should work as a good starting point, just know you’re dropping in on an established tardis team. The Infinity Doctors is astoundingly standalone for what it is. The Burning is basically a new pilot (to the point where I think it would work as someone’s first ever Doctor Who story). It also sets up an arc. Father Time takes place during that arc (and ties in with The Infinity Doctors), and Escape Velocity resolves the arc. Earthworld is the next book after Escape Velocity and can work on it’s own, but if you’ve got the books leading up to it, you might as well do them in sequence

The Ancestor Cell is very much the climactic finale to the first half of the EDAs, ahead of a change in showrunner. It’s really not going to make much sense without a lot of the previous books for context

Thank you. I think I’ll start with the Infinity Doctors (after I’ve finished Ten Little Aliens).

David Howe actually owns/runs the museum, started out as his personal collection of things he bought 2 of and grew there. Worth a visit if ever in the north of England. :sparkling_heart:

Oooh how are you finding Paper Moon? I thought the format on those was a really fun little gimmick even if the story wasn’t all that much

I am about halfway through. I like it and I find it fun and cute. I started reading it because of your love for thirteen. I thought I would get into the EU stuff with her. Even if I am not that big of a fan if her TV stories I like Jodies as the doctor and wanted to get excited about her again before I reach her seasons on my rewatch.

That actually makes me so happy to hear that my love of 13 has convinced other people to jump into her EU stuff <3

It is hard to not get inspired when someone is as positive about something as you are with 13.

At least four of those are masterpieces in my opinion, and a number of the others I’d say are very good as well…

VNA haul (Blood Heat, Dimension Riders and the Left Handed Hummingbird are also on their way). It’s about time I got around to this series. I suppose I’m alright skipping Timewyrn and Cat’s Cradle,is that right?

A long time ago I was buying the DVDs when they were coming out. But due to personal stuff, I got rid of all of them. Well, today I’ve decided to start buying them again. I’m not going to go nuts and get the lot in one go, but every time I go past HMV, which should be once a week at least, I’ll pick one up. £5.99 each as well, so nice and cheap. I plan on having them all on DVD and Blu-ray. Also, I might try to get the VHS releases as I had all them too. Yes, I still have a video player.

I would say that you could skip them as there’s not massive continuity concerns there The TARDIS is playing up a bit due to things happening in Cat’s Cradle but nothing major.

I would recommend reading Nightshade by Mark Gatiss before reading Love and War - not necessarily “required reading” but it gives a bit of background to what will happen in Love and War. :slightly_smiling_face:

Edit: Plus Nightshade is just really good :+1:
