The website actually includes the reccomeneded retail price for releases now - what they’ll go up to after the first month.
That’s a good feature.
But it’s like how my friend Mary described it - “it’s like finding a single sweetener tablet in an oil spill.”
Is there a light mode one the new site? Dark mode makes it harder for me to read. 
Thankfully the old version of the app can still be used to listen to any audios you’ve got downloaded.
Can’t really download new ones though.
Speaking as someone that’s been collecting the audios since 2016… I’m not looking forward to using the new app in the slightest!
Hopefully there is. Briggsy claimed that the new site had been tested by several users, but I seriously doubt that given the state it’s in.

Eh, like I said I don’t personally mind it all. I can adapt to the new UI.
What I can’t adapt to is the fact that some of my purchased audios I just can’t download rn nor hide some of my releases anymore. Again, knowing that these things will hopefully be improved and updated but like… I thought this was supposed to be an improvement?

I’m going to log into the new app but if I hate it I will just be using the old one (like I am at this very second) until I physically cannot
I haven’t downloaded the app as I don’t really have any reason to right now but I am definitely finding the new site to be easier to navigate and think it looks pretty nice.
It’s also worth remembering that a lot of the current issues people might be having with the site are just a result of things taking some time to move over and a lot more people than usual trying to use it.
Has anybody lost any of their purchases?
I got a VERY quick response via email so I’m not overly worried and, to be honest, I genuinely like the look of the new site. When the teething troubles settle down I think it will be a nicer experience to browse, it’s just that itchiness while everything migrates…
Couple things I’ve found. First, when you go to “Series: Doctor Who”, you get the nice carousel of Doctor Collections.
.However, there’s no War Doctor Collection. The only way to find War Doctor stuff appears to be either search for it directly or scroll through the (2005-2022) section. Also, why is the upcoming Fourth Doctor special release The Curse of Time in the New Series section and not in the Classic Series section. Did they just accidentally reveal something about that story?
Secondly, just tried on a whim to log in. Got a little message saying “We could not log you in with those details.” Okay, fine. Forgot password. On a page using the old logo, I get this:
Oh well. Luckily everything’s backed up on a external drive (or my laptop) so the only things I’ve potentially lost are pre-orders.
Well, I can’t say I didn’t expect a mess.
Luckily, I’ve begun a binge of the entire Monthly Adventures recently and I have the first 50 on apple music, so by the time I need to use the app or website, the (seemingly many) kinks hopefully should be at least somewhat ironed out.
My main problem here is I have to get a new phone because my current one is too old for the new app.
Though thinking about it. When I clicked on the little user icon it offered an option to sign out. Going to try that.

Okay, logged out, tried logging in. Doesn’t recognize password. Okay, following so far. Let’s reset password. Oh apparently an email was already sent. Well, it didn’t show up in my inbox. Ah, there it is. In the Spam folder.
Remember to check your Spam folder if you’re trying to reset your Big Finish password.
My god, that site is a pile of s**t. Hopefully it gets optimised and speeds up a bit. Everything is hidden behind a menu in a menu.
And the schedule I use for our BF schedule is so slow.
I also find it interesting that Bernice Summerfield is stuck in “Other Worlds” rather than “The Worlds of Doctor Who”.
Look, I work for the mouse. This happens all the time. I can tell this was exactly a “corporate” (in so far as BF has corporate) mandate to have the website launch today whether or not it was ready. The fact that there’s a roadmap for the new site openly available that includes many features that were previously on the site tells me that the site was 100% not ready to launch.
Yup. And also Charle Pollard. Any idea why?
