Looks like they’ll be s chsnge to the 30 second rewind/fast forward which has been desperately needed! So often I miss a single line and have to rewind 30 seconds… only to miss it again

The new website (from that one screenshot) does look very good. I’m not so sure about the app. I’ve downloaded and, although it can’t be used until the new website goes live, it looks like it’s been designed more for phones than for a tablet. Everything is small and in the middle of the screen and it doesn’t look like there is any way to make it full-screen on an iPad. That might change but, at the moment, I’m a little disappointed by that. I much prefer the full screen of the current app.

That’s strange, what im seeing currently is just 30 second rewind and no speed changer. Guesisng itll be changed when out maybe?

Honesty the pre 2019 UI was amazimg imo. Im not a fan of how much scrolling the current one requires to use on mobile so I always have it on desktop mode in spite of the fact iirc the UI was made with mobile in mind.

Very interesting, slick and modern. I know they’ve talked about this on the BF podcast for quite a while and it has been noted that the website is a bit of a UI nightmare. So let’s hope this new one works better. Although, it looks like a Disney/Marvel streaming page, as pointed out by @JayPea.
The app redesign is also welcome. Very intrigued about the rewind/forward and play speed buttons, like on podcast player apps. I remember Nick Briggs saying on the podcast a couple of years ago that they would never add a playback speed button because BF audios aren’t meant to be played at a faster speed. They are performed, directed and edited to play at the intended speed. It’d be interesting to hear why they’ve changed their mind.

I think it currently looks stitched together by a bit of code and a lot of hopes and dreams but to each their own
(Tbh i think its charming that it feels outdated so my opinion should be invalid by default for that)

Doubt it. That’s them protecting themselves from rabid fans who get all bent out of shape if a release gets delayed by a few days. They only say a month so no one can have a go at them.

Not sure I like the new look of the website. Like @teslapunk3327 said, it looks very corporate. I suppose it works with the amount of sets they have, but the vibes are kinda rancid. I hate the way everything is starting to look the same on the internet.

I wonder if the banner will change pictures kinda like they do on Big Finish’s Twitter?
Or if it’ll just remain as those characters and Big Finish unapologetically just hinting at their favourite characters

Oh no I don’t mean future releases, I mean things that have already been released. It just shows the month there.
There are so many releases where the only known release date is the month because the Wiki got its info from BF and they don’t show it…
I hope you’ll like the new design we are working on for TARDIS Guide. It definitely doesn’t look the same as everything else!
Certainly a strange look to feature Barrowman so prominently, as he doesn’t work for them anymore! Although that cover is iconic.
