I’ve never heard it called that before, I like it
The original app hasnt updated anything for me at all since Operation: Werewolf came out.
I didn’t really know what to call it.
Same with me. Just long enough to make me think “Oh dear, maybe there’s a problem?” and then they appear.
Maybe they have a Doctor Moon managing our libraries.
“But I don’t know anything about new purchases!” says our Big Finish library.
“And then you remembered!” says Doctor Moon.
I find after you purchase something, you need to hide and then unhide it on the website for it to appear in the app
Omg that worked thank you! x
That this is the solution is ridiculous though
Big Finish are asking people to help test the old app.
Apple users only at the moment.
(Edited to update it’s the old app they’re testing, not the new one…)
It’s actually the old app that they’re testing. This is to hopefully fix the issue that people were having when they went back to the old app and found that recent purchases wouldn’t show unless you hid some items in your account.
No news on the new app or website sadly.
I’ve opted into the beta version of the app via the android store, it only took seconds and my visible list is now displaying from 363 to 501 which wasn’t possible previously so I’d encourage anyone in Android to opt into the beta version if there are still spaces available
They’ve finished testing and now The Big Finish App is fixed, and there is a free story if you visit their website (The Four Doctors).
Never mind, seems that that’s precisely what we need to do
So the app is back and I am still without a phone new enough to download it.
I think I may have just lost access to the next 100 entries of the Main Range.
Whoops.
I’m still confused over which version of the App we’re supposed to be using as both came up when I searched but only the old one had an option to update. (I’m on Android).
You should still be using the old app
Just went to use the app to check on a boxset order. Pulled down to refresh and got this little message (I have not hid any of my purchases):
I had that too. Didn’t take long, to be fair, and everything seems to be working just fine.
