George Harrison was great, and What Is Life is high up there as far as his songs go.
Weird Al is also great, writing and singing all sorts of parodies. He’s also a great performer, as you can see when he does a serious cover of What Is Life…
(And if you think about it, he really has to be a top notch musician to be able to parody songs so well, too.)

I’ve seen this video before and it’s one of my favorite things that exists. Al’s voice is perfect for that song

It is! Though he’s also quite talented at mimicing other people’s voices. Both this version of the song and Weird Al’s original are songs I love to return to occasionally.
Weird Al also actually during one tour, played a cover of a different song in every concert, doing 77 different songs in total, and you can find a number of them around. (Not to mention I believe Weird Al put them together into an album in some form…) I remember Suffragette City and Rebel Yell, among others.

I have a fairly varied music taste as well, though my favourite genres are alternative/indie rock and Finnish rock (usually called “suomirock”).
I love to listen to older bands and artists, since I grew up with 70s and 80s music. I frequently listen to The Beatles, Queen, David Bowie, R.E.M., U2, Elton John, Bruce Springsteen, Finnish 80s and 90s rock bands, and a lot of 90s and 00s alternative bands (Manic Street Preachers, Weezer, Nirvana, Britpop, The Cranberries, Biffy Clyro, The Killers, Arctic Monkeys, Radiohead, Muse, etc.).
I also love Swedish bands and artists, plenty of film music composers (John Williams, Hans Zimmer, Danny Elfman), and of course, Eurovision (I’m a huge fan, and this is always the time of year I listen to old and new Eurovision songs obsessively). I’m also a Weird Al fan, and sometimes I’m in a mood for his fun and catchy parodies and original songs.

My taste are all over he place from opera to rap and everything in between. Classic rock is my fallback.

I’ve been listening a lot to Danish rock legends “Disneyland After Dark” lately (okay they only made one album with that name before being shut down by Disney lawyers - they just go by D-A-D)
Pure nostalgia for me, I heard them SO much during the 90’s

I’ve been listening to some D-A-D as well, though not very extensively. Kashmir and Mew are other Danish favourites of mine plenty of great music in Scandinavia!

I was the singer in a Kashmir cover band 20 years ago! Loved the opportunity to start almost screaming my head off in “Bring Back Superman” I am not saying we were any good, but we had a LOT of fun
That sounds like loads of fun! Learning these kinds of things is why I love these communities

Indeed
But I think that’s enough personal details about me for today

Well, it’s a great song, and hearing it in the trailer made it even better!
One of many great songs!
I’ve especially listened to the albums “Blackstar” and “Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders of Mars” a good number of times…

Btw thanks @MrColdStream for reminding me of Mew - I’ve basically had their album “Frengers” on repeat the last day (“Comforting Sounds” is really top tier music for me).
I know he can be a bit of an acquired taste but I adore Tom Waits, I can’t describe how many times I’ve heard "Tom Traubert’s Blues (Waltzing Matilda). His gritty yet dulcet voice paired with his incredibly delicate touch on the piano on this track is sheer poetry.

I do also like Tom Waits… though perhaps with a rather different tone.

There is such diversity in his music over the years (and I hear he is writing songs again for a new album).
I think I prefer his “Small Change” album if for nothing else than including this gem:

Pretty sure I remember that one. He’s got quite a knack for memorable names!
