I just finished the K9 series yesterday (All 26 episodes) and wanted to discuss it unironically in a positive fashion.
I really enjoyed the K9 series and I was hoping to make a space where we can talk about the positives. Like the Big Finish or EU threads.
A nice place to talk about the Australian K9 series from the 2010s. And the many positives it holds. Maybe all the ways it connects to the EU stuff.

Idk if you’ve seen it but we already have a few threads for the show, including this glorious one that started it all (including an April fools day joke of renaming the site to K9 Guide. Good times)
I know. I would like to be positive, instead of the one that starts with negativity and presumably continues along that slant for the whole thread, knowing how people can be. I remember K9 Guide.
Well, to be honest, I think a number of us both think it’s bad and like it in that thread. I mean, we watched the whole thing, didn’t we?
(And I’m responsible for the 
emoji, which people seem to generally like.)
Some times it’s just so gloriously camp and over the top.
And I thought Taphony and the Time Loop was great. I wish it’d been at that level for the whole run.
This makes me want to watch it!

That was certainly on the better side of episodes! There are a few actual gems in K9 the series, despite what some of us say

Love the monster designs, reminds me a lot of Power Rangers in a good way! Especially the Aeolian!
Now just imagine if when Omega came back, it hadn’t been cgi, and they’d had costuming by the guys that did these monster designs…

I like Taphony and The Time Loop. I think the show was always at that level of quality though.
I was surprised they didn’t have Sutekh with the light-up heads when I realised K9 was doing that with the Anubin.
(I think this show looks better than the other series at times.)
