I love the CCPC (as comedic relief, not potentially human clones with any human intellegence removed for machinery that are tools of a fascist state) and have practiced writing for them on occasion.
Spoilers for extrapolated information from later episodes that makes up a plot point in one and is probably in part due to the writers potentially not knowing what a cyborg is. You can guess that last one; it gets more noticable as you go on. (Might just be me though. I made too many worldbuilding notes.) And second bit is also spoiler-tagged because if you notice it you might not be able to unnotice it. Don’t want to ruin enjoyment.
Also I think about that fishing scene regularly. That and SPOILER SPOILER. And the vidcoms. And Starkey defusing that bomb.
