Just listened to Intervention Earth. I took this note and feel like it perfectly encapsulates my feelings: I have no idea what’s going on but I am entranced by Trey’s voice. Truly I am in love with Trey, she is just so amazing 
I could listen to her for days.
Narvin is amazing in here. His relationship with Romana is so compelling, and he is such a bad spy, like he doesn’t even try, it’s incredible. I also love the way he deals with meeting humans, it is so funny.
Ace is here!! I love Ace, Ace is great, she is wicked and she is perfect in here and I really don’t have anything else to say because she is just perfect. Love the way she brings a contemporary human’s view to Gallifrey.
This story is very atmospheric and shines in the way the characters talk. It’s pretty confusing when you’re expecting more seamless continuity as before in the series but once you let go of that it’s wonderful. Really Juliet Landau’s voice just does it all. I don’t need to understand what’s going on if I can just listen to her.

Intervention Earth and Enemy Lines are the two audios I can never remember if I’ve properly listened to if at all. It’s why I need to do 4-6 and relisten to both of them before I go on to Time War.

obviously can’t speak for enemy lines yet, but that does make a lot of sense for Intervention Earth, there really isn’t a lot to the plot, but I have to say I really loved it because it’s just really pleasant to listen to. It even comes with a half-hour soundtrack at the end!

I’ve listened to Intervention: Earth once, and was horribly confused (I vaguely remember it ending abruptly, maybe on a cliffhanger). I have yet to listen to Enemy Lines.

The thing about IE is that it’s weird. It’s fascinating. It only makes sense in the context of EL. And it grts totally erased so it basically doesn’t matter
It’s one that’s had to grow on me, but I do like it noe if only for how daft Narvin is, and for how toxic he and Romana iii are

When I first listened to Intervention Earth I was so confused because of the lack of context at first. Throughout it I kept wondering ‘when is leela going to show up?? Did I miss a story where she left?’ It would probably have made more sense to release it after Enemy Lines. But also a story that grew on me in a relisten, as I was less distracted by my confusion.
Enemy Lines, though, is one of the best Gallifrey stories and my absolute favourite post-series-3. There’s a scene that makes me cry each time I relisten.
Everyone should go listen to Enemy Lines right now!!

I’ve been re-listening to “Enemy Lines” today 
(got about 20 minutes left)
“Intervention: Earth” and this one really feels like one long serialised season.
The whole plot with Trey always confuses me a bit - is she essentially written out of existence after the resolution of Enemy Lines?
I love Ace being included in the Galli-gang!

Yes - The whole point of IE is that it’s the timelime where Romana’s suicide plan on the Moros in EL works, Leela gets stranded forever on Legion, and Romana regenerates. But EL almost immediately rewrites that by having Brax come to save her

I really like these more atmospheric feelings of Enemy Lines and Intervention Earth. The music is a very nice touch. But I also have to be honest, this one was very long at about three hours and I feel like maybe it could have been shortened a little bit.
I adore Leela in this one. I feel like this is one of very few Gallifrey episodes where she is consistently treated as smart and competent. She figures things out, she is an equal to Romana in the investigation and I love to hear it! The Leela/Romana relationship is very strong in this one. They are just so them, hurting each other, leaving each other, saving each other and all of it! They care so much and it shows. The ending of them in that other universe broke my heart. Romana is in a very interesting position here, her becoming coordinator was not something I expected and it is so funny to me that she just stole Narvin’s job. I do actually feel that this is a role that fits her very well because not only can she lie much better than Narvin, she is so good at meddling. I think she needs power, and to have no one who can tell her what to do, but also being responsible for all of Gallifrey is not good for her. This position gives her much more freedom.
Poor Narvin gets killed! That was really something. He really can’t catch a break. I love the Narvin and Ace dynamic. I didn’t expect it but it is absolutely wicked. Ace brings something to Gallifrey that I didn’t know I needed but I am in love with her. She’s incredible. I need more of her.

It’s like Gary Russell wanted to kill us and succeeded. It’s known for the Narvin/Leela bits but even the little story he tells is just too damn cute. The way he’s like hmm what will cheer my friend Leela up. Oh yeah! A story about the Doctor being mean to me! like come onnnnnnn
It never stops hitting either. Even when you know that end is coming it still makes you go WAHHH every time

And the ending! I love that this is not just a Narvin/Leela story but a Narvin/Leela/Romana story. Because Narvin and Romana are so terrible and they both care so much for Leela and they want her to like them and I am crying again.
