You definitely do, they’re really solid!

Sounds good. I’ll have to get this sorted. Do you remember which is the first release in the series? No worries if not. I’ll track it down.

So there’s a few different ranges:

The Monthly Range - Can probably jump in anywhere, The Conspiracy, Fall to Earth, and Ghost Mission, are probably the main required listening

Special Releases - Believe and Sins of Captain John have no required listening, Believe is also a great taster and jumping on point. Outbreak and The Torchwood Archive are best listened to after the three monthlies I mentioned, the latter being better after the first 10 or so monthlies, but they’re not required at all

The Story Continues - What it says on the tin, basically seasons 5-7 of Torchwood, you can absolutely jump in here, though those three monthlies give a little more context. I might also suggest the monthlies Forgotten Lives and More Than This as well for a little added context but not required.

Torchwood One - I don’t think this needs the monthlies I mentioned for context tbf. Follows Ianto and Yvonne during the days of Torchwood One, before the battle of Canary Wharf.

Torchwood Soho - 1950s Torchwood London, definitely want to listen to at least Ghost Mission before it, and I’d also reccomend Goodbye Piccadily from the monthlies, but not required

And the monthlies for TW1 are One Rule, Tube Strike, and Disco.
Not required for the boxsets but also great additions to the stories set between 2004-2007.

Adding to this, Madam, I’m is a monthly for Soho and was really fun

I’ve seen so many people complain about her by saying she doesn’t get punished for her actions. As if watching all her friends die and being the only one left behind to grapple with PTSD isn’t punishment enough. As if there isn’t an entire horror trope based around torturing a character like that! People have a hard time with her character.

Ooh, this is good, could you write a “where to start with Torchwood audios” guide for the site?

Whatever she does or happens to her, she’s one of my favourite characters simply because Eve Myles is an incredible actor imo

There are people who have issues with Gwen?
She’s consistently the best part of Torchwood!
How can you not love her?

My only issue with Gwen is how she eye-fcked Jack without knowing that the CCTV was watching them.

Long story short the Earth became a breeding ground for the 456 to farm “drugs”. Alternate timeline.

All because she eye-fcked Jack lmao

I’d be down, sure!!

Could even do general guide to torchwood EU content?

Miracle was worth it just for the moment in that second GIF

Well, people also hate Miracle Day (which both of these are from), so… I guess there’s no accounting for taste. I think everyone who hates Gwen should watch Miracle Day and see just how badass she can be, maybe that would change some minds.

That’s hugely helpful. Thank you! I’ll definitely check those out. :+1:

Wondering if we have a badge for rating every version of the 1996 TV movie, like that of Shada. We have the movie, Novel of the Film, an abridged audiobook of Novel of the Film, then a longer Target novel The TV Movie, an unabridged audiobook of The TV movie… That’s a lot!

Haha not currently but I could certainly do that, sounds fun!

Weird that people were up in arms regarding Bradley Walsh’s casting too, given that he had already proved his acting credentials as Oddbob The Clown in The Sarah Jane Adventures.
