As a first teaser, not bad, but it did not really catch my interest. Curious about Nicolas’ character, though. And as a fan, I’m looking forward to the Christmas Special anyways, perceived qualities of a teaser notwithstanding. :wink:

Interesting how we still don’t really know what the plot to the episode is. I reckon this clip is either a pretitles scene or right at the beginning of the episode. The question is whether the Silurian means the Silurians are supporting characters, or play into the plot as the antagonists of the episode.

All I have to say about Joy: “Your honor, I love her!” Just very sweetly and politely introducing herself to a bug in her room. You get the understanding of who she is immediately. Time to patiently sit and wait for the episode.

My thoughts exactly. It’s a very “Moffaty” thing to do. Plus, it seems they are keeping the main creature/villain etc. quiet for now.

Looks lovely, especially Joy seems sweet, so I am looking forward to seeing her! Overall, it’s a nice first look, and I am excited to see it since this will be another Moffat Script (and the first Christmas Special not written by the Showrunner, hopefully that means somebody else than RTD will write the one for 2025!)
Overall I am curious, and I look forward to it, despite not being all too huge about the Christmas specials in general

If we are going to have a fantasy wishlist of future DW scriptwriters, he would be a great choice! :slight_smile: i also agree that he would potentially write a stand out Christmas special. :smiley:
