The Rani’s is so good!
Hands down, the Rani’s TARDIS interior.
I absolutely adore this one. The time rotor looks almost hypnotic when it moves, and there are so many tactile panels and touch pads on the console that it feels really futuristic for the 1980s.
Nothing beats for me the TV Movie Interior, utterly gorgeous, and it fits perfectly for 8. The classic Interiors have their Charm to them, I am not sure how we differentiate between them, but I have some huge fondness for the one used in the Five Doctors and I believe most of the remaining 80s Run(?). Oh, and the 60s one is just iconic!
Lots of love for Twelve’s Interior as well, easily my favorite of the revival show.
I’m plain, just give me the regular 1980s TARDIS interior lol.
It’s a pity that this TARDIS set was only used for the 1996 TV movie. I could spend all day in there.
I’m completely sold, who do I appeal to to get you instated as show runner?
looks like a candy
As I’ve said in a different thread, TV movie console room is great and I’m a big fan of the Tertiary Control Room from Nightshade i think it’s in
This woman should’ve been a Doctor Who villain I can imagine the Doctor’s rage
Blon Fel-Fotch Passameer-Day Slitheen’s sister?
Seeing those cats, though, she and Six might have a bonding moment.
I actually do kinda fw this…
Absolutely. This one was the business! I wish they’d kept it longer.
Where to even start? There are several that are particularly special for me.
Let’s start with the classic. It went through several iterations on the basic theme. I represent here with the season 15 version. Basic, yet wonderfully iconic. This is the TARDIS console room.
How could I not acknowledge the design genius of season 14’s wood panelled, stained glass beauty?
Moving forward, so pleased to see the Eighth Doctor’s grand Gothic masterpiece getting plenty of love. A genuinely gorgeous bit of design.
And we’ve almost gone full circle back to a modern and epic reimagining of the classic white console room. This is, to me, a thing of breathtaking beauty!
Looking through my examples above, I note a pleasing symmetry.
