Doctor Who - season 2 (2025)

I would argue a “?” would work just as well, if not better

Why not both?

Run!?

Even better. The interrobang. ‽

It could be a two-parter.

  1. Run?
  2. Run!

And to make it more complex, the story is set on a planet, where running is dangerous! If you run, you blow up!

“Don’t run. Don’t even run. Don’t jog, don’t power walk and don’t run! … Good luck.”

The second Doctor would regenerate on the Spot, poor fellow :frowning:

I’m very excited now!

I’ve really liked Juno Dawson’s work that I’ve experienced (Redacted Series 1 was amazing), I actually like Pete McTighe’s work, and new writers is always a good thing!

Now I want to read Doctor Who: The Good Doctor

Interesting. One Chibnall era returnee. Three new names. Good variety in their backgrounds and styles. This could end up being really, really good!

So pleased to see Juno Dawson there. Redacted and The Good Doctor are great.

Do we know whether they get a story each or if there are co-written stories in the mix?
Could RTD give half a season to other writers this time :crossed_fingers::slightly_smiling_face:

Also, Pete McTighe (:+1:) - could we be looking at Doctor Who crossing over with a spinoff once more?

There’s two writers I don’t know in the mix - often a good sign

And I am looking forward to seeing what Juno Dawson will do with a visual medium, as I didn’t find “The Good Doctor” particularly exciting and really didn’t take to “Redacted”.

Hype for season 2 building

That would be nice. I just hope that he has improved his writing after Kerblam. I have very low expectations of him…

Ooh, I loved Redacted!

To be fair, when I think of Pete McTighe’s writing it is mostly the Collection minisodes I’m thinking of

I am glad to see Pete McTighe in the mix. I actually do like a fair amount of Kerblam, just the ending and mixed messages messed it up, and with a different showrunner, he could be good. And I do like the minisodes.

I just can’t wait to what new voices are gonna bring :star_struck:

I can also see some good moments in it and as you say with another showrunner it could work.
