Hey, that oneâs at least all the same story!
types an essay why this is yet another point for classic against the revived series
Jokes aside, yeah I do agree, I also miss those Titles, even something like Time and the Rani has more spice to it!!
The Rani of the Daleks, The Wife of the Daleks, The Child of the Daleks, The Food of the Daleks.. I can do this all day! (RTD, if you read this, please give me a slot and I will write The Food of the Daleks!!)
As for reusing Titles: The Torchwood one is the worst in that regard, at least with the others itâs a different medium and/or different range, meanwhile both âDay Oneâ are Torchwood. (But thatâs just me, still baffled by that Decision)
Very intrigued by this two-parter
But what if itâs a three ParterâŚ?
Now, I want to meet a fan whose favourite Torchwood episode is Day One and whose least favourite Torchwood episode is Day OneâŚ
Wife of the Daleks
Child of the Daleks
Divorce of the Daleks
I was more thinking Cats or Dogs of the Daleks, but alright some juicy drama will do as well!
There probably is one and we will never know which is which for them..
But is it, though? The Doctor is different after all. Are Human Nature and Human Nature the same story?
I canât speak for Human Nature, but I would say that all versions of Shada depict the same story. The eighth doctor being there instead of the fourth doesnât really change anything beyond the opening scene, and plot remains very much the same. The audio/webcast doesnât differ more from the tv with animation than the novelisation does and I think most would agree that those are the same story
I was only joking
Yes, but itâs an interesting thing to think about
When 4 got time scooped, it made it not happen with 4, right?
Yeah, precisely, Four and Romana while travelling with him go punting, get time scooped and their timeline of it is erased and they leave, and then eight and Romana as president go to fix it instead
I donât think the ones for Season One were particularly inspiring.
Space Babies sounds too silly, and the episode was a bit daft.
The Devilâs Chord was a great title, Iâll give it that.
Boom is a bit unimaginative, but the episode itself is fantastic.
73 Yards makes the episode sound dull, but I wouldnât say the contents itself are.
Dot And Bubble, without context sounds silly, but with the context of the Finetime society and their social media bubbles, is serviceable.
Rogue is okay, but nothing groundbreaking, as itâs just the name of one of the characters.
The Legend Of Ruby Sunday is a title thatâs actually better than the episode itself, as itâs exciting and suggests a deeper mystery than what we eventually got as the answer in Empire Of Death.
Empire Of Death is one heck of a title, and is an episode title that immediately pulls you in.
66.8 Meters just doesnât have the same ring to it.
If 73 Yards had been a Moffat script it wouldâve been simply called âRunâ.
Add a â!â to it and it do be a fine enough title honestly!
