Well spotted. That’s my mascot - PTSD Captain Scarlet, a tatty old action figure that I rescued from a charity shop some years ago. He’s missing his hat and gun, plus his uniform is shrinking, so he’s very depressed. We try cheering him up by taking him to nice places, but so far it’s not working.
Ok I’ve expanded, here is my second KALLAX, this one 50% bigger than the last.
I need to fill it up and this gives me more space to organise things. Plus more space for more books and things
(There’s no books on here yet, so no I can’t really call it a bookshelf. That’s like calling a pond a duck pond when there’s no ducks )
I hope your husband has his own space too.
My guess is that @shauny has a closet that is bigger on the inside and that he keeps his Doctor Who stuff in that secret room.
Must be nice to have a dimensionally transcend 7ARDSG filled with KALLAXs
He has basically the rest of the whole house, which he has interior designed, and he also has his own study. This is my study.
He calls it my “playroom”
Oo-er…
It’s where the magic happens!
*by which I mean where the website is built
This is more information than we asked for! I don’t want to know the different uses for a KALLAX shelf…
Oh, and toyroom, you say…
I’d still call it a duck pond if it was surrounded by a path with branches hanging over it that I had to bend over to avoid. But I see your point.
Maybe I should send you some books that I can’t fit onto my shelves, just to give them a home, you see.
The most important thing here is: If a duck pond calls itself a duck pond, isn’t it then a duck pond? Who are we to decide the duckness of a duck pond?
