So I know every time there’s a sale on, I say I’m got to buy something, and then the sale ends before I get the chance to do anything.
But I’m wondering if anyone can recommend anything from here that is a good introduction to Big Finish, because I want to listen to the audios so badly

My picks from this list as little tasters of the series would be 9DA: Star Crossed, 11DC: Geronimo, The One Doctor, or maybe Legacy of Time. Those are probably highlights of their ranges without needing much if any prior context, and Legacy woulf be good if you wanted a sample of all sorts of ranges - it’s a solid boxset!

If you need good Introductions, I do say Doom Coalition 1, 11DC Geronimo & Legacy of Time are good Places to start. I will say the Sale has plenty of great-ones, but I am afraid some of those work much better if a.) you are more accustomed to the Medium of Audio or b.) have more knowledge in regard to Classic series and/or the Audios itself (like Daughter of the Gods for example). Although I am sure Sircarolyn’s recommendations are also a good Starting Point (and they pretty much summarize it perfectly up with Legacy being a boxset which gives you a good Taste of all the Classic Ranges!)

Even if you don’t pay for it, you can use a laptop or tablet to listen to BF stories in order! Unfortunately, you will have to listen to occasional adverts, and I understand not wanting to support Spotify, but you can listen without a Spotify premium account.

The Big Finish Soundcloud account also has free episodes.
I see Cuddlesome (Five), Urgent Calls (Six, good audio!), UNIT The Coup, The Veiled Leopard (Ace, Peri, Erimem, Hex, no Doctors), Rise and Fall (short trip), Mission of the Viyrians (Five), Last of the Titans (Seven), and some others.
But, if you’d like, definitely check out their Spotify. There are tons of free stories there and you don’t have to pay for a membership.

I’d also thoroughly recommend Geronimo, Star Crossed and Doom Coalition 1. DC1 was my first BF audio ever and it’s a really great taste of what you can expect from them. The other two are more recent audios but both are also really quite great!
Always love seeing more people get into BF!

Ninth Doctor: Into the Stars was also good. The first story does something interesting with Sontarans, the last story is a nice, creepy Ninth Doctor Christmas special, and the middle story was fine. I’ll second Geronimo, or even the whole 11/Valerie run which is on sale here. Spare Parts, Master, The Holy Terror, Live 34, and The Kingmaker are all good Main Range offerings. If you want to try some Short Trips, I can recommend Regeneration Impossible, Erasure, I Am the Master and How to Win Planets and Influence People.
