I’m not too surprised. As we (speaking generally) have spoken about before on this forum, DW fans, especially those more interested in classic, don’t seem to like romance in their storylines too much. Fan content for the show is mostly non-romantic.
True. I should clarify that I’m by no means against it; there are some stories where I think it woks wonders (Arrangements, Friend of the Family, UNIT Dating, The Love Vampires etc) but mostly I find it a bit shoehorned. Romance is not the be all and end all of relationships! I especially love that Who explores deep platonic relationships more often than not.
Took advantage of the sale and got The Wormery
One of my favourites! Hope you enjoy
The DISAPPOINTMENT I felt when I discovered the word ended with -ntic and not -na
Why would they do this to us
At this Point, Big Finish is just playing a cruel Joke with Gallifrey fans
Well, it was obviously ‘romantic’ rather than ‘Romana.’ Can’t you see there’s only one heart emoji?! /j
Ah but a single heart could have represented my love for Romana!
I’m still confused why they did a Valentine’s Day sale in May.
It’s part of their weekly themed sales for each ep of the new series, so since we knew Conrad/Ruby would date - love!
Oh ok that makes more sense.
Countermeasures on sale - this is not a drill!
Why are you @ing me when I already own them all - you should be alerting everyone else that it’s time to get obsessed with CM with me!!
So that you could proselytise to the masses!
EVERYONE LlSTEN TO CM NOW!!!
Perfect timing for me! (Well apart from the earlier ones I already got. But now I can buy the new counter Measures cheaper!!)
When I got the notification I did think of @sircarolyn, even if I knew she surely had them all
I’ll happily accept my reputation as the one who is obsessed with Counter Measures
I’ve seen Remembrance, and Assassination Games is free on BBC Sounds.
Are there any other requirements for Counter-Measures?
I may be interested in giving it a try
