A short intro from the US - Just joined, DW newbie!

Hi all,

Just a shout out from the US!

I have just joined today and am excited to have found this group!

In all honesty, I’m a Doctor Who newbie.

My sons loved the Doctor Who series growing up, but they’re now in their 20’s and doing other things. I have always been a reader, so all of my Doctor Who has been mostly through books.

I have read in the last few months:

  • “The way through the woods”
  • “Paradox Lost”
  • “Plague of the Cybermen”
  • “Touched by an Angel”

I have about 5 pages left of “Borrowed Time” and then I’m not sure what the next book will be.

I was going to start “The Silent Stars Go By”, but now I’m rethinking that idea because I’d like to do a “read along” with everyone. I do love the eleventh doctor most though…

Anyway, it’s great to be here! Thanks!

Johnny

We have TV Club Audio Club Book Club and Comic Club. They’re good places to jump into and give your spicy opinions :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

If there is anything you want to know about in the site or forum, feel free to ask, and we will point you in the right direction.

I hope you enjoy your stay.

Welcome! The Books category might be for you, as well as the Comics category as that counts as reading too. Of course the clubs have already been mentioned, if Matt Smith is your favorite, then maybe check out the eleventh-doctor tag as well.

Okay, I digress… I thought I could easily find it, but where/how do you track it on the site?

tardis.guide is the address. There should be a <–To the Guide button somewhere around the top of the forum.
