ohhh that’s what that means ![]()

At least that’s how I understood it, devoid of context from the Matrix movie lol.
ohhh is that where that came from ! I’ve seen people saying they’re [whatever]pilled and I figured it was probably positive but that makes a lot of sense
Yeah I’m pretty sure the origin is blue pill red pill from the Matrix. (Not the political context it can be used in; not trying to bring politics into this, just clarifying). In short, I’ve spent far too much time on tumblr. But I feel like it and here are the only places I can find fun positive Doctor Who stuff.
Came up with my username on Roblox. First time I had ever made a username and I thought you really needed to put your name in (User’name’), something you like: my cat, and then there really needed to be numbers because I have seen people people online with numbers in their names (also AudreyJune was taken
) 246 was the first thing that came to mind (I like 2s).
I’m too lazy to come up with another username and now I kinda identify with it.
My sister and I had the internet safety rule of not going by anything potentially identifiable ingrained into us growing up, so I’ve been going by Louise online the entire time (to the point where it’s now as much my name as my irl one).
Can’t entirely remember why the McBear part was added - bears are cute and adding “Mc” as an extra syllable made it sound better probably? Started using it on Movellas (old creative writing website - RIP) and just kept using it from there.
It’s a mashup of Team Sonic Racing and Team TARDIS, which you may know better as “the fam”.
My name is Reece and I really love the eighth Doctor, so I combined the names to make it sound like a ship name, simple as that.
It’s been my username for years, I’m a runner and I love Lego. Simple as that.
So I discovered this forum whilst looking up to see if there was ever any rumours of David Morrisey coming to Big Finish to reprise his role. A Next Doctor Victorian London Christmas boxset with Jackson Lake as the lead will forever be on my wish list! When I was searching, one of the top results was you guys talking about it.
So I thought it would be fitting to make it my username!
Jackson Lake / Mc (main character) /
Then the 17 comes from State of Decay, where K9 says that 17 planets have legends of vampires. I love me a vampire!
I thought the 17 meant that you’re the 17th favourite Jackson Lake on the forum.
Long ago, when I was choosing a name for AO3, I wanted to include some kind of verb that best reflected my creative approach. Considering how common it is for me to start a project and abandon it before any substantial progress has been made, how frequently I flit from one project to another, how often I struggle to adhere to some kind of schedule for posting or updating fan-works, I settled on: Fumbling.
I wanted alliteration, too. So, on AO3, I am fumbling_for_fics; on Instagram, where I post video edits, I am fumbling_f0r_films; and here, on TARDIS Guide, I am FumblingFoamasi, so that, in the event of that wonderful species (or my verb) being mentioned, I can recite that wonderful line, ‘You mentioned Foamasi?’
You told me I was your favourite Jackson Lake on the forum ![]()

I have yet to see another Jackson Lake here, which means that you are indeed my favourite ![]()
the best line delivery in Doctor Who
Mine is simple.

Wow, that math made more sense in my head. Time to use big person language: I love the arc slogans people have, The Girl Who Waited, The Impossible Girl, Child of the TARDIS, and I love stories with paradoxes. In an RPG, I made a Gallifreyan Time Lady that only existed because of a bootstrap paradox and their nickname was The Paradox Child. So, one interpretation is that the name could have come to me like that.
Another interpretation, one which I think is far more likely, is that while the above story is true, the exact origins of my name are still a mystery even to me.
You can’t get any cooler in my book now. ![]()
I honestly have just used the same username I have used for other sites. Especially anything fan related. Makes it easier to find. I was a huge fan of The Dukes of Hazzard, The A Team, MASH, Knight Rider, Magnum PI, The Nanny, and shows like that growing up so I started writing fan fics for them and just flipped a coin on which series to put in my user name. Kinda just never changed from there
I thought it was a Blue Devils reference! I love those, you have cool taste in shows! (I like all but one of them.)
That’s funny. I’ve had people think it was a Yugioh reference too. Thank you, I actually had a whole period in my childhood where I wanted to fly planes and helicopters just like Murdock. I’m glad someone else likes them because anytime I make jokes referencing them I get a bunch of blank looks.
Oh. I thought you really liked Duke University basketball.
