Oof, in four! Would have gbeen five were it not for the transcript mentioning “heavy mechanical marching”…
That one took three.
all five for me… not an episode i watch very often.
Got it in 4. Might’ve gotten it in three if my mind hadn’t gone to Donna when it came to Tennant and memory loss…
got it in one, big murray gold crescendo and machinery was a distinctively recognizable combo.
Got it one as well. That music was semi-familiar and the ambient effects narrowed it down.
I surpriseed myself and got in 1! It was the first story I could think of
In three. There are more Victorian stories than I remember is basically what the advent of Whodle has taught me
In three today
Four today with similar logic to @nyssaoftraken
I got it in one. It was the sort of Heath Robinson squeaking, flapping sound at the end of the clip that pointed me in the right direction.
In two for me, nearly in one but I wasn’t expecting a repeat (at least I think we had this one before?)
In one! Took an educated guess based off of the sound of gears
Two, it just clicked for some reason.
In one for me. The clanking gears. Ahhh! Oh, and Mercy Hartigan is a really good villain. Not my favourite Tenth Doctor Christmas special but the good bits are great. Love the graveyard scene. Also, David Morrisey is excellwnt as Jackson Lake.
Got it in one! The soundtrack is obviously Ten, and the machinery directed me to this one. Surprising, as I’ve only seen it once.
I thought it was very “every Murray Gold Christmas Special” in tone. (No disrespect meant here I just think his “Christmas style” is too similar over the years)
I went with two Twelfth Doctor Christmas Specials before going for a 10th Doctor one because of Tennant’s voice
I don’t know, I think there are certain motifs that help me pinpoint an era. My first thought was actually the Runaway Bride, but I knew it couldn’t be it since we’ve had it somewhat recently.
