Feeling daft that it took me three, I have seen this episode a hundred times bc I had it on dvd with The Eleventh Hour and The Beast Below and I watched that dvd sooooo many times

They looked better, in my opinion, when given metallic paint jobs (as seen in Asylum). I think there was potential for them as a ruling class. I’ve always enjoyed seeing different Dalek types, especially provided the standard Dalek is still the norm (be it silver and blue, gunmetal grey or, since 2005, the “bronze” Dalek model). Variants add intetest and create a sense of heirarchy.
