Still, it is the best story with the Simm Master by quite some distance
But it doesn’t really deliver on the set up of World Enough and Time. And the way Bill’s cyberisation was reversed was really not to my liking.

By the time we got to Bill’s ‘death’ I was thoroughly fed up with Moffat’s inability to send his companions off in any other way other than ‘they’re dead - actually no, their not’. It sort of worked for Amy and Rory but completely ruined Clara’s end for me and sullied a great companion in Bill. Bill and Clara have almost exactly the same ending including heading off into the universe with another woman.
