I watched Toy Story 3 with my kids this morning. Damn, it is a good movie. I cried at the end when he left his toys to the little girl and went to university.

Seeing Tian’s Goofy mug reminded me of the Pluto & Goofy Dilemma. Both are dogs but Goofy is anthropomorphic whereas Pluto is just a regular dog. What happened? Does Goofy have a tragic backstory like Rocket Racoon?
Another Disney scandal, why does Donald Duck walk around with no trousers on? Dirty beast

I cried so much watching this movie the first time it was pathetic. Full on sobbing. Started on the incinerator scene and just kept going.

I remember watching the incinerator scene in the cinema and I was almost ruined. I honestly believed, for a moment, that they were actually going to kill them all off and the hand holding…

My wife doesn’t like this film but I admire it. I even got to see in it the cinema once when it was re-released sometime in the late 80s/early 90s.
Thoughts?
Nothing really beats the Sorcerer’s Apprentice but Dance of the Hours and The Pastoral Symphony are great.

It is no secret that I am not much of a Disney fan - I’m no hater, I just am incredibly neutral on it all. I never watched them growing up that much and I never formed a particular attachment.
That said, my friend who is a Disney fan sat me down and made me watch Fantasia and I was utterly captivated the whole time. Completely beautiful film, I loved it
