What are your favourite songs (if any) from Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs? It’s never been a favourite soundtrack of mine but it’s difficult to avoid how iconic songs like Heigh Ho and Whistle While You Work are. And how many of you still think the lyrics to Heigh Ho are ‘off to work we go’ when in fact, it’s ‘HOME from work we go’?

I liked Disney when I was a kid, but not so much as an adult. Generally I dislike musicals so I tend to bounce off them now.

One thing I love about Disney movies is the sheer technical impressiveness that went into animating them. The one that stands out to me the most is James Baxter animating an outline of the ballroom scene from Beauty and the Beast by hand. It shows not only the technical skill that went into making these movies, but also the care and attention everyone put into making this, they were making works of art.

It’s a great one. I remember the donkey scene being very scary as a kid. And the whale scene. It’s the next best version of the Pinocchio story after the brilliant del Toro movie.

I still haven’t seen the del Toro version, nor the Disney live action remake.

The remake is quite honestly shite. An inferior version of the original and even Tom Hanks can’t save it!

Someday My Prince Will Come was my accidental first dance with my husband (long story I believe I’ve shared before) so it now always has a place in my top 10 songs and is very much deserving of it in itself for how beautiful it is.

Oh I should share these pictures from when we went to Disneyland after Gally One last month!
(Did not do a good job of getting Peri in focus but I was trying to get pictures quickly so I wasn’t in people’s way and my group wasn’t waiting for me)
Was my first time doing Disneyland because I grew up much closer to Disney World, and I had a lot of fun! Didn’t get to do California Adventure, so will have to go back some time for that.
