What's Made or Not Made Your Day?

Finished Nightsleeper just now. All in one go. It’s definitely not going to make my tomorrow tho

I love One Piece so much! It’s my favourite thing, even above DW

I’ve got my exam of linear algebra tomorrow. While I’m not quite as prepared as I had hoped to be, I feel much more ready than before the first try. I actually feel confident regarding a lot more topics and I didn’t have any major mental breakdowns this time!
Only problem today was that I wasn’t feeling very well this morning, and was worried I’m getting sick, but it got much better during the day and I think it might’ve just been my anxiety.

Just avoid watching nonlinear things like The Pandorica Opens and I’m sure you’ll be fine. Good luck!

I’ll have to do so many things I’ve never done before. So many work are piling up. How did things come to this? Oh, I know, I spent last whole week doing nothing because of dysphoria. And my entire summer break, which is nearly two months.

It went really well! I had some good feeling solutions for nearly all tasks, so I’m pretty sure I passed

I was offered my own store to manage. The idea would be getting it up to standards, train a replacement and move on. The only problem is that it would involve an hour-long train journey each way, every day.

Told them I’d think about it.

As someone who used to commute into the city, an hour each way between trolley and train…I’ll offer this thought.

That’s 2 hours a day you can read Doctor Who books or listen to Doctor Who audios.

I got through a lot of books during my time commuting this way.

My thoughts exactly.

Sometimes commuting is a nice time to relax and get some reading in.

But also the state of the trains in this country it can also be a bit of a nightmare!

yep, I listen to less podcasts & BF partly due to not having a commute.

This made me feel better about potentially having a long journey to my university work placement next yet

Got my last big Smash event this weekend before I fully step away from tournaments pretty much entirely. Had a love-hate relationship with competing up till last year and spent the past year just spectating, but realised it’s time to fully move on and enjoy my time with other hobbies. But it’s been a big part of my life for 9 years so Sunday when the event ends I know it’ll be very bittersweet.

This is what I’m doing this morning :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

A group of people are joyfully jumping in front of an inflatable finish line, promoting the "World's Biggest Inflatable 5k" event in Norwich on 12.10.24.

With my husband, my Mum, my sister and her husband and 2 kids! Should be a right laugh!

Here is a map of the obstacles

I spent a fair amount of Friday at the Age of Chivalry Renaissance Festival. Theoretically, I was going to go back Sat/Sun, but I’m rather tired, so I’m not sure if I will…

Ooh, this looks fun! You have to share your experience with us afterwards, I’ve never done any of these!

I can’t help but point out OBSTACLE is spelt wrong…

It’s not if it’s meant to say “OBSTCALE MAP”. You know, maybe it isn’t an “obstacle map” but an “obstcale map”, whatever that is…

Or maybe it is a test to see if you have a good enough eyesight to join the run

Well “obst” means fruit in German.
And “cale” is another word for dog in English.

So clearly this is a map leading to The Legendary Fruit-Dog :pear::dog:

Cale (with a K!) is also a vegetable! So this could be the Very Healthy Fruit Vegetable Corse!

We did it! It was so much fun

(Took a little longer than a normal run would do because had to slow down for those that couldn’t keep up - not the little ones who raced ahead - and at times we had to queue for the inflatables)

We are going to do it next year, had an absolute blast! :man_running:t2::running_shirt_with_sash::athletic_shoe::checkered_flag:
