What's Made or Not Made Your Day?

Randomly got the idea to do an interrail trip this summer [1], asked a friend about it and we immediately started wildly planning and throwing ideas around. Really hope we’ll actually pull through on it, it’s something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, I’m excited!

  1. okay not entirely randomly, I’ve had the idea in passing several times ↩︎

If you ever do have ten times the number of patrons, keep this in mind!

I think Delta could recruit everyone at his school—pupils and staff alike—to help you with this!

It’ll be 60F (16) and rainy here tonight which is amazing (ie normal summer weather for places that are not trying to kill you)

Question for said hypothetical people who live in places not trying to kill them, what is normal winter weather?

Living in a place that’s not trying to kill you is an option?

Here in Australia if you’re brave you can wear shorts, otherwise long sleeved clothing and maybe a jacket is fine. I say “fine”, but it’s still bloody cold :sob:

I said weather, what temperature is that?

9c, idk we usually just get normal weather, at least in the part of the country I’m in it doesn’t snow, you might get fog though.

I live in northwest Washington state. Typical winter weather is cold (low 40s/high 30s) and rain. We usually only get snow in the lowlands once, maybe twice, in a season. That said, it’s not always nice snow. It’s usually accompanied by northeast winds. I don’t snow when it’s a nice blanket, but for us it’s usually in drifts. And our house has a nice open field across the road so we get high drifts (three-five feet). Worse is when you get a silver thaw (freezing rain that coats everything in sheet of ice). That’s the most dangerous thing in winter.
