Oh, dreadful news. So sorry for you and your mother’s loss. <3
Very sorry for your loss. Especially when these things happen suddenly, it can be hard.
Crazy update! So every year eight people in the university get selected for this thing. In my rejection letter, as a sort of consolation, they said they almost never accept second year students. Except I’m not a second year student. I told my mentor this, and apparently there are going to be nine fellows this year instead of eight!
Potentially quite close to becoming a Castellan here, also only 2 days until new Doccy Who
After tonnes of delays (between anxiety + being put on hold), I finally got in touch with the council and have sorted out my payment issue. Whew!
Made my day: I’m finally going to sleep.
On my way home from a football game. Unfortunately, we lost 0-1, which did not make my day. Now I will be tired with no voice tomorrow and not have a great result to show for it…
Football will do that you, my local team nearly folded last year because of a bad owner. I’m gonna make a badly educated guess that the team might’ve been playing a team from Vienna
It can be so frustrating sometimes…
We have a rule in Sweden that all teams must be at least 51% member-owned. I am so happy that we have this. Seems so stressful otherwise.
This was a correct assumption.
I’m off to the football on Saturday
What is your team?
Southend United, we’re somehow in a playoff push
I don’t have a team in English football and can cheer a bit for them then. I always respect people who have a team that doesn’t play in the top division.
They’re my local side, we’re most famous for beating Manchester United in 2007
That’s great. We have a lot of Premier League supporters here in Sweden, and I cannot understand why when we have local teams. I would much rather have a team that I can watch live than have one in another country.
Alexander Isak
In a world where everything seems like it’s going to shit, and the news is just one awful thing after another, it’s nice to take comfort in small victories.
Like that our little show is still going, and we get a whole new season starting tomorrow
That’s what’s made my day!
Who knows what the future of the show is, I’m tired of the discourse around that, let’s just enjoy these 8 weeks as a celebration of New Who!
I missed 911 but got my well-deserved rest. It was worth it. Prob gonna catch up later tonight.
Waiting on some news today which will determine my future, really manifesting good news but not looking likely.
Well somewhat good somewhat bad. They’ve rescinded their offer of a full-time job once my visa becomes available but they’re pretty confident they can give me a part time position. Silver linings and all that.
