What Would Your TARDIS Exterior Look Like?

Continuing the discussion from What Would Your TARDIS Look Like?:

A few have passed since this post, but it got me thinking and tinkering for a few days in Fusion360 and I ended up with this:

I downloaded a free Brachacki model and started mixing it up with the current AWJ Box, it still needs a lot of work, mainly the roof and the top lamp. The roof will have two levels while being completely flat like the majority of classic Who designs. The lamp will be the same as the current AWJ Box. I want to have a little extra border around the door sign that lights up and change the color to a more greenish look. I`m still not really convinced on the window design, the plan is making the main model on Fusion360 (because I know how to use it) and then export it to Blender (which I have no clue how to use) to try and give it some life.

Anyway, I’ve seen a topic about custom TARDIS interiors, but none about the other big part of the TARDIS which is the Police Box itself! What would yours look like?

Edit: It doesn’t have to be a Police Box either, your TARDIS could get stuck as a tree, a building, a piano or maybe you got lucky a got a functioning chameleon circuit, anything goes!

Well, if I had a TARDIS it wouldn’t get stuck as a police box. It’d probably be one of those olive trees that get old enough to have cavernous holes in them.

That was unexpected, but very interesting! It could be fun to see what other things other people TARDISes would get stuck as!

I’ll make an edit to the original post, I really like that idea!

I just really like the imagery of those big trees as doorways. Usually to fairy worlds, but I think the TARDIS interior is close enough.

My Tardis exterior would be the Bass Pro Pyramid, or i quite like it when the Tardis is a column

I was trying to think of something you see all over the place, so if my TARDIS was stuck as one thing it would not be conspicuous.

A tree is a good shout.

If you’re mostly travelling in and around England, and mostly London (as the Doctor does) then this could work:

However it’s not very glamorous, and don’t ever land in a festival or you’ll soon get a queue outside.

But that wouldn’t work if you travel to the distant past, or alien worlds.

Maybe this tiny shed?

It would work in the past, or the future, and you wouldn’t be mistaken for police (which can cause problems). And Lucie Miller (and Rogue!) will be correct in calling it Time and Relative Dimensions in Shed.

I’m kidding. I’d want a police box :smiley: I like the current TV one!

I’m not a Gallifrey person (I can’t believe my Gallifrey knowledge is close to zero but I actually get this reference) but I would genuinely love mine to look like some sort of old arcade machine.

I’m both making a fun reference and being deadly serious - Tetris is always always my arcade game of choice and I think the Tetris theme echoing through the vortex would be a great way to herald my arrival :star_struck:

Really cool that Design!

For me personally if it wasn’t stuck as Police Box, I would love it to be like that one clock that the Crispy Master has from The Keeper of Traken, I just find it pretty cool.

Then again I would like a Police Box the most, probably 1s, 8s or 13s Exterior would be my Calls.
