That’s how I tend to think of Arc. It’s extremely just… there, like quite a bit of the Davison era.
I do like the way Nyssa is written, though– she gets to be a bit more independent and active. Much as I love Tegan, she tends to overshadow the other companions a bit.
I find her going crazy with a Gallifrey staser very funny. This is currently my profile picture on Spotify:

Damn. I think it’s not quite the 10/10 great one that so many do. Certainly not “best episode since Heaven Sent” that I’ve heard said, but I think it’s pretty good. Some of the effects really take me out of it, like the obvious green screen and honestly the prosthetics didn’t work for me either, just all felt a little too cartoonish, but I like the story. Star Beast is probably my least favorite of the 60th, though it has plenty to like in it.

Watched the Celestial Toymaker. The reconstruction, not the animated version.
Mixed bag for me. I like the mindgames and the Doctor and the Toymaker, less so Stephen and Dodo’s games.

I’m half-way through Inferno now. I think Classic Series 7 may be one of the strongest seasons of Doctor Who. All 4 serials are bangers. The weakest would be The Ambassadors of Death, but even that has enough going on to keep my interest.

Quoted for truth! It’s a solid season, helped by the fact that it is so short, so there’s not a lot of room for stinkers. I also find Ambassadors the weakest of the lot and Spearhead and Inferno are both superb.
