LOOOVE this one!!! SO good and so much intrigue on first watch, and each time it gets better. All the elements introduced its just chaotic in the best way.
What do you mean one of them isn’t on YouTube… how will I ever 100% the TV guide…
In other news, despite rating them all low, the Peter Capaldi one got a 5/5 because it was VERY me coded, very Scottish coded with all the swearing and I love The Thick of It!
There’s also some really disturbing stuff on display?!
The way I didn’t know if you were talking about Flux or the Sock puppets I had to check…
Series 6 is my favourite of the Sock Puppets episodes, Capaldi second.
The rest is disturbing
Lastnight I rewatched The Battle Of Rankoor.
I forgot just how good that was.
Oh there’s two missing ones </3 shame I wanted to complete it.
Yeah, I really enjoyed it! I’m doing a rewatch of 13’s era right now, first time watching it since broadcast, and I’m loving it so much.
Love Graham! I think he represents all of us in a way.
Really fun one! The opening scene with 13 and Yaz is one of my favorite moments in the whole era. Just pure Doctor/Companion shenanigans
I might regret this but I am going to watch Reality War again. I keep trying to persuade myself that it cannot possibly have been as bad as we all think and that we were overreacting because I just can’t bear the idea that DW could make me feel that wretched. And the only was I can confirm or deny how I feel is seeing it again.
If only for the Rani. Archie Panjabi I will miss you FOREVER
Gonna rewatch everything with Ace in it. Me, rewatching Remembrance twice in a week? More likely than you think
Watched (a reconstruction of) The Smugglers today. Definitely one of the serials that really suffers from only being accessible in slideshow form… I might’ve liked it if I got to actually see the action scenes.
that is so me
anyway i watched Reality War. I liveblogged it in my notes app and wrote out an essay and it’s 2.5k words. I’ll put it in that thread but yes. I think watching again has given me some peace. I think in a few years we will watch this more kindly. Still don’t like it but without the shock, it’s not quite as dreadful. I’ll let me explain more over in Reality War chat.
I said this but then went an ate dinner and forgot to actually go watch Dragonfire. Doing so now
This is a fun one. Great introduction to Ace. I do think I liked it better the first time round, though. When I had no clue what was ahead of me.
I like how Ace is basically Mel’s girl of the week here
I don’t really get what Mel’s motive for leaving is supposed to be, but it’s a decent companion exit. I like The Doctors little speech(?)
