It’s not half star bad… it’s daft but at least it’s not dull and boring…

No need to apologise. You’re entitled to that opinion and I don’t really care. It’s not a story I feel passionately about. But I enjoyed it at least. You might want to keep that image away from someone else, though…

I love Ray. It’s a shame we had to choose between her or Ace. And honestly if we were comparing only Delta to Dragonfire, I’d have preferred Ray to Ace. Ace was so much better in S25-26 than in Dragonfire, where she felt like young delinquent written by old people. If we’re talking overall though, if Ray is the sacrifice to have Ace, I can live with that.

Edit: Oh, also I could listen to Ray’s accent all day.

Imagine the world where we could have Ray AND Ace :smiling_face_with_tear:

I really ought to rewatch in preparation for her becoming a full on companion !!!

The 11th Doctor, anyways.

I like the final speech from the Doctor in the TARDIS, but I think I will always feel like “Love from Gallifrey boys!” would be a million times better as the Doctor’s last words :slightly_smiling_face:
And I think the scene looses a bit because of Amy’s involvement. Still think she should have been retired in series 6 :slightly_smiling_face:

“Do you happen to know how to fly this thing?”

I don’t mind the episode as is, but I’ve always quite liked the idea of 11 regenerating atop that clocktower, blasting Daleks to oblivion, and the next we see of him is his boots walking up the TARDIS steps and it’s Peter Capaldi settling in. I can see why they wanted to give Matt a bit of a showy final scene, without all the old man makeup, but hey. And I agree, “love from Gallifrey boys!” would’ve been such a fun last line.

Because the TV Club episode this week is Torchwood, I decided to finally take the plunge and watch a bit. Interesting so far, bit weird though

How to explain Torchwood in five words!
