Having Mel already be a companion when we first see her is interesting but I really miss having a proper introduction to her.

Especially since the Mara has already been referred to as the God of Beasts by Sutekh which I dont understand how he could get it so wrong. The Mara is about the temptation and darkness in the mind. Is he unable to see past the snake?

That is what I would be afraid of if it was brought back right now. The snake is the least interesting part of the Mara! It’s not just a God of Beasts - that takes so much away from the two televised stories

No I think Bret essential fulfills the exact same role as Sara Kingdom in Master Plan - the companion role.
I do like Wilf you know (how could I not), but he’s a more of a guest star than a companion in my eyes.
