What are you currently reading?

I think watching the cutscenes or a playthrough on YouTube should count for that.

Started reading The Stone Rose.

I just read the short “Destination: Skaro” novelisation from Fifteen Doctors, 15 stories.

It was a nice little tale, I sort of wish we had more with the 14th Doctor rattling around the Crystalline TARDIS from the Whittaker years :slightly_smiling_face:

And thus I’ve completed yet another Doctor :wink:

Twelfth Doctor next?

I do like the Twelfth Doctor, but it’s currently 197 stories I haven’t read or r heard there…

Feels like a bit much

Maybe I’ll try to keep up with the 15th Doctor stuff I haven’t experienced yet instead :slightly_smiling_face:

Well, you better start now then! It could be up to 200+ this time next year, and then it’s even harder to complete

I finished The Crooked World the other night - god what a book. An absolute roller coaster of an experience, I think it’s reached one of my top 5 favourite EDAs

I really liked the audiobook of Kerblam! it added so much to have the actress playing Judi narrating :+1:

And the Witchfinders is really good as well :slightly_smiling_face:

Well that’s good to hear! I have the audiobooks for both, so I look forward to listening to them!

Ol’ Frankenstein was indeed a bit slow about lumbering his way to my door, so I opted to dig up The Dead Men Diaries, figuring that if I wanted to I could pause the anthology and finish it after. In the end, I just read the whole thing.

It’s a decent collection of Benny stories with a couple of gems in it. I think Steal from the World is probably my favorite, but there are other contenders for that accolade.

I think that “Wishfinder” was good. “Kerblam!” did not save the story for me, but it was a bit better. The audiobooks were good.

Just did a couple of 14th Doctor short stories, inspired by @BillFiler to get my 14 numbers up! Now all I have left is the 3 novelisations… but god knows when I’ll get to them :sob:

The only Who book I’ve read thus far is ‘Adventures in Lockdown,’ though with luck, I should reach the first of the Target novelisations before summer (I’m on ‘The Aztecs’ in my rewatch), and I did read the ‘Doctor Who and the Daleks’ candy cigarette story last night, lol. Other than that, I’m reading Kristen Britain’s Green Rider series, Marvel comics (I’m about 40% of the way through 1964, almost at the point when ‘The Aztecs’ aired), and thousands upon thousands of posts in this thing called tardis.guide…

I’ve started reading Birthright. It’s an interesting beginning – Benny being stranded on Earth is a great concept, but I’m finding some of the depictions of women a bit annoying and sexist.

So far it’s not too dissimilar from the audio adaptation, which I enjoyed.
