Lost interest in Ark again. Uninstalled it and decided to install a bunch of other games in my Steam library. Mostly a bunch of Star Wars games (thanks @JacksonLakeMc17 for reigniting the Star Wars bug of mine)[1], but also some Lego games, Assassin’s Creed, Fallout, and other random stuff.
Star Wars was my major franchise before Doctor Who ↩︎
The announcement has me doing a full replay.
Metroid: Zero Mission
Metroid Prime (I think I want to scan dash for space jump first, so original not remastered)
Metroid Prime Hunters Recomp (since it got decompiled and a PC port made with improvements, I’ll give it a go)
Metroid Prime 2: Echoes
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption
AM2R (I played Returns last time I played II, so AM2R this time)
Super Metroid
Metroid: Other M
Metroid Prime 4: Beyond
Metroid Fusion
Metroid Dread
Played a bit of KOTOR the last few days. Started on Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast this morning. Installing Star Wars Outlaws, so I’ll probably at least be trying it out over the next few days.
Been playing Two Point Museum and Megaquarium. I like to play these sorts of games whilst I have an audio play or book on and just muck about in their sandboxes. Two Point Museum especially is a really brilliant game!
Blockheads, a 2D mobile sandbox survival game, I’ve played when I was younger is getting a sequel [1] so I decided to play it again to remind myself of what it’s like and it’s still good. There haven’t been any updates for 7 years and I haven’t played the game for around that long so it’s nice to see.
stumbled across it randomly when I decided to google something about the game and the sequel popped up ↩︎
Played some Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast this week, but got stuck in a spot and walkthroughs weren’t helping[1], and then finally got Star Wars Outlaws working so I’ve been playing that. However, it just froze up, so I’ll see if it works again whenever I hop back on.
Heard a lot of good things about the franchise so in light of the new movie I just got Resident Evil 1 Remake or REmake as it’s apparently called and the remakes of 2 and 4.
Huge Resident Evil sale on btw anyone interested should get on that now
Anyway the only thing I know about play order for newcomers is that 2 should come before 4 so I started with that before realizing I’m a coward so I’ll give it another go tomorrow but during the day with all of the lights on.
I’ve played nearly all of them (playing the remakes where they are available)
The only two I haven’t finished are 6 and 0!
They’re really fun games to learn the speedruns for! So whenever I finish an RE game I learn the speedrun and try to get a good time on it. My best for RE7 is 3 hours 10 minutes!
If you think they’re scary, you should try RE7 on the VR I was absolutely terrified!
So I played a LOT of World of Warcraft in the early 2000s, but kind of lost interest later on after the Cataclysm. I think Legion was the last expansion I played.
I haven’t been interested in WoW Classic because I missed all the new Quality of Life updates from Retail.
Ever since the announcement of World of Warcraft: Forever I can feel the addiction coming back strongly. I’m really hyped to start playing this again!!
A couple of my best friends in primary school were big WoW players (this was around 20 years ago), and they tried to get me interested too. I often came over to watch them play, and I made my own character and played the tutorial but not further than that, because my parents didn’t allow me to buy the game for myself.
