Penguin in the TARDIS library which I made myself. Was trying to make my own interior and might return to the project sometime.
I mentioned earlier that I was playing Dark Souls 1 with a bow. Just thought I’d mention that I defeated Ornstein and Smough with a composite bow +15…
Wow, I can’t make interiors no matter how hard I try!
Thanks. It’s time consuming but definitely worth it when it’s done
Played a bit more Jurassic World Evolution 2.
Playing some Jurassic World Evolution 2. Started a new park and built two exhibits and a big lagoon.
One thing I’m actually finding a bit fun to mess with is the steamdb calculator:
https://steamdb.info/calculator/
Put your steam id in, and it shows you a lot of stats about your account. If you hit games, it shows all your games, and lets you sort them by various interesting things. It shows things like how much games cost per hour you’ve put into them.
Personally, I’m finding it fun to sort by price and find out what games I own aren’t on the store any more, or sort by rating, and fire up some of the worst games I own…
My account gets a little ridiculous, though I know a lot of it is having gotten big bundles of things and having been subscribed to humble bundle for a long time, getting a dozen games a month or so automatically…
I also clearly need to go through and play way more of the games I own…
I got Humble Bundle stuff a lot when they first started. Getting half a dozen games for a couple of £ was great, but then when they changed to having multiple bundles at a time, I stopped paying attention to them. They just turned into another “reseller”.
Played some more JWE2 this afternoon.
With having a monthly subscription, it was easy to just leave it and forget about it for a while, and then occasionally go on binges of activating games from the subscription. One thing about subscriptions to things is it’s easy to just kind of leave them going assuming you’ll use them some day.
Also, every time I went to cancel, I’d see something that looked interesting in the latest bundle…
You know, what’s kinda funny is I tried sorting by price, and at the top was “Aartform Curvy 3D 3.0”, price $119.97. I look at it on the Steam store, and the price there is $299.90.
So I did a search of my old emails and found the one where it was added to my steam library. Price: $24.99…
That’s a common tactic. It will go on “sale” at 95% off.
Here’s mine. I also get a lot of bundles and am signed up to Humble Choice.
My Steam Profile (from SteamDB)
-
Value: £3172
-
Games owned: 777
-
Games played: 207 (26%)
-
Hours on record: 2,905.5h
Apparently if I bought all the games today it’s worth £11,536
Only spent £1.14 per hour though which is actually really good value!
I need to play more of my games, one day when I’ve finished* working on this site I’ll play some more.
- who am I kidding, it’ll never be “finished”
And who’s fault is that? Remind us where you’re posting that comment from?..
Stardew Valley + Gallifrey is really nice
That time when the Doctor left you a little farm in Stardew Valley…
I don’t game much but am enjoying the retro RPG Sea of Stars on Switch. Picked it up in the sale. Great score.
I had a Dreamcast in the early 2000s and there were two games that I loved more than anything on it. Shenmue 1 and 2. It was more beautiful than anything I had seen and the world felt more real than any other game. This was before open world was a therm. When Shenmue 3 was announced I was so happy but I never played it (I don’t have a Gaming PC or a PS4). I am really happy that the series still is not dead and that there is hope for more ports of Shenmue 3 and maybe even a Shenmue 4.
