One thing I did actually like in the Tales of the TARDIS version of the Orphan 55 Extended Edition was when you realise that when 13 was talking straight to the camera at the end, she was talking to the Tales of the TARDIS version of herself…

As soon as I got home I had the urge to carry on playing Satisfactory, I love this game but started it again when it was officially released and they added a story to it, so it’s a bit of a slog to redo stuff.
But it’s a perfect game to play while listening to Big Finish, so I’ve almost finished the new River Song boxset

I still want Satisfactory. I’d definitely have had it by now if I hadn’t become tight on money, as it’s on my wishlist, and has gone on sale since then.
It’s on sale now, even, I’m just trying to ignore the fact that a lot of my wishlist is right now…
Fortunately, I do still have a ton of games on my backlog, which is why I’ve been making an effort to at least start them up long enough to determine how interested I am in them.

So I’ve started on Aberration this morning. Whereas The Island is an island with lots of different biomes surrounded by ocean and Scorched Earth is a desert, Aberration is a mostly underground map with extensive cave systems and small sections of an irradiated surface. In the lore, this map housed survivors from the 22nd Century close to the time when the Arks were actually constructed. They attempted to escape the Ark and in doing so, heavily damaged it. Now it’s home to the element-infused corrupted Rockwell.
I’m having fun with it somewhat, using console commands to fly around and explore. I’ve got a small base that I plan on expanding. I’ve collected a few tames and am just having fun with this.

Been playing the new Assassin’s Creed Shadows game a bit, so far it’s pretty good, I haven’t really played an Assassin’s Creed game since Unity so it’s been nice to come back.

Nice. I really enjoyed the story for Origins, Syndicate and Odyssey are a lot of fun, Mirage was a nice return to elements of the original games, and Valhalla is a Viking game.

I played Satisfactory for hours yesterday, first time getting totally immersed into a game again and I love it!
